Below average partially because oxidized. Sugary sweet soy. Not a lot of complexity. More I try it less I like it. DandyWolfFloyd (1202) - Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2016
Aroma - sweet malt, slight cherry, and alcohol.
Appearance - the body is a very dark mahogany, with some nucleation, and some large particles. Head is around 1/3" and white, and rings out.
Taste - beer is malty sweet, there is some nut, and some light caramelized sugar - a slight cherry Cavendish hint.
Palate - medium body, slick feel, flat carbonation, and a slightly sweet finish. Maracuja05 (1280) - Mainz, GERMANY - SEP 8, 2016
[backlog] 12-06-16 / bottle at home. Amber brown colour. Pretty sweet. Notes of honey, cherry, alcohol. Strong malt. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 2/5 ALIBALI (2090) - Kiel, GERMANY - JUL 11, 2016
In der Nase stoutlastige Röstaromen, optisch fast schaumfrei mit Weinansätzen. Bitter, schlank und weich, einen Moment ein wenig süß, wenig später dezent alkoholisch und wieder kommt einen Wein in den Sinn. Tolles abwechslungsreiches Bockbier. 0,5 l Flasche direkt von der Brauerei. Thanx to the Ratman. MALZWALZE!!! BuckeyeBoy (7676) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 24, 2016

Bottle from Sprout’s: Poured a light brownish mahogany color while a snap, crackle, and pop foam head slowly began to shrink. Aroma is mild but does bring about a big whiff of alcohol and sweet caramelized malts. The yeast used is too faint to notice with my nose. The flavor of the beer is a goopy syrupy malt beverage that has some fizzy carbonation in the palate, but with high alcohol and certainly a better tasting malt liquor compared to the stuff the U.S. classifies as malt liquor. Sweet corn cereal aftertaste left behind in the finish and when I lick my lips. N3lson1 (1005) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - DEC 25, 2015
Drank from a large, swing top bottle, poured into a pint glass. Smells sweet and nice, tastes delicious. Pailhead (6539) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - DEC 25, 2015
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy brown sugar, caramel, and faint grains. It pours a dark orangish-brown with a good amount of chunky sediment floating around. It has a one finger off-white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with moderate brown sugar and caramel. The finish has some light raisin and graininess, but the flavor is all about brown sugar and caramel. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation. mrol (327) - - DEC 16, 2015
Pours amber with white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with notes of caramel. McWorta (1627) - LUXEMBOURG - DEC 9, 2015
Opalescent deep brown colour with a small light tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, toasted bread and sherry with hints of caramelised apricots with a light subtle floral edge to it develop. Softly carbonated and smoothly textured offering a medium-full body. Fruity-malty sweet with a good floral hop profile keeping the beer well balanced. Lasting finish.
