Aroma: extremely sweet and malty, fruity; Appearance: dark amber with thin white head that disappears quickly; Taste: follows nose; very sweet with a boozy bite; not too bad; Palate: heavy body with long, malty finish; Overall: not my favorite style but this is ok.

2016, 12%. Thanks to whoever brought this! Misty amber-brown body with a tiny off white head. Heavy malty aroma, dry and raisiny. "Simple" but effective malty, mostly raisiny pleasant taste, slightly flat and alcoholic as expected. Didn't thrill me, but I can respect it.

Mahagoni with medium beige head. Aroma is maple syrup, butter, some oak, grapes, dried fruits, dried plums. Aroma is rather shy. Taste is very oily sweet woody body. Much syrup. Heavy and oily. A bit alcoholic and overalcoholic. Would probably not drink too much of this.

Bottle. Brilliant ruby color with tan head. Aroma is prunes, figs, candied fruits, fruitcake, caramel, some european oak flavours. Taste is fruitcake, figs and prunes again, raisins, sweet, a bit concentrated. Thick oily mouthfeel with low carbonation, low aftertaste. Excellent Eisbock!

0,33 l bottle ordered from the brewery. BB 24.04.2027. At that time I´m retired a few years ... Pours out in a dark red brown. Smallest and fast fading head. Smells malty with alcoholic elements. Taste starts very smooth, malty, caramell, some hints of licorice in the background. More barrel wood and fruity. Totally hidden alcohol. Some sweetness as expeted. Balanced. No carbonation. Great stuf!

Aus der Flasche. Dunkelbraunes Bier, beiger Schaum. Süss röstiger Duft. Trockenobst. Im Geschmack Feige, Malz, trockenpflaume. Recht süffig für so ein starkes Bier. Im Abgang kommt das Holzfass hervor.
