Cadouin France - Great appearence with a bit worse arome but with a heavy taste which makes a strong appearance. Not bad at all!

Strong tasting beer. Its amazing how little alcohol you actually taste. Worth giving a try at least

500 ml can, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear golden with a fairly decent off-white froth. Aroma: Hmmm, where to start? Oddly perfumed, floral even, alcohol, some strange fruitiness, more alcohol, sort of wet...ash?, some higher alcohols, there’s a really dusty note that almost makes me sneeze, this is pretty bad. Palate: Medium+ body, fairly low carbonation, slicky and oily but also oddly astringent. Flav.: Oh, sweet Jeebus. A really gross mix of bizarre fruitiness, strong, bread/biscuit, so much alcohol, that floral/perfumed thing, again some higher alcohols, so much booze; bordering on cloying except that the alcohol sting cuts the sweetness, with a dirty ashen malt fruit mess left in my mouth.

OK, I knew this wasn’t a good idea, but I felt like being stupid. I cannot believe that this comes in a 1 L can as well! This is second only to Cream Sherry for cheap ways to get blind drunk. This should be a controlled substance.

Bottle. Golden with white head. Pilsner aroma with grain, malt and a little citrus. Flavour has some sweetness with grain, malt, citrus and alcohol. ’Nuff said!

heavy (2890) - Split, CROATIA - JUL 25, 2010
1 l can courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured darker golden body with big fluffy head that gone down quite fast to medium size, when it actually didn’t shrink anymore. Weak alcohol and sugary aroma. Alcoholic flavor as well, but not so much as it would be expected. Fruity cidery and honey malt sweetness. Medium to full in body with sweetish, slightly warming finish. Drinkable and surely not among the worst malt liquors, this is a decent option to get drunk.

The impressive 1l can that some friends of mine got at some gas station I guess (huge thanks Karolina and Ana!)
Poured a pale golden-yellow body with a big head that dissipated fast initially but stayed finger-thick for a while. The nose is... humm, oily, dusty, some honeyish sweetness and alcohol, not wholly unlike a mead. Strange. The taste started off with some nice maltiness that quickly got bludgeoned by an assault of the alcohol/bitterness combo, helped with some apples. Later on it settled down as sweet, appley, slightly bitter and almost drinkable, but far from the best beer around. Could be useful while drinking out, because of its package, but only for that and one’d have to be just a little desperate. There are worse malt liquors.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2013 This was a really poor decision. 500mL Can from the LCBO. 10%. ROCKETFUEL! Dark golden pour with a frothy white head that bubbles away quickly. Aroma is sweet grains and super sweet fruit. Taste is full-bodied, alcoholic sweetness with a faint malty kick that takes care of some of the alcohol taste (for a 10% abv beer, i guess its well hidden). Finish is dry and uninspiring, just a lingering, carbonated alcohol tinge. Nothing to go out and pay $3 a can for. Unless 3 dollars and a place to collapse afterwards is your idea of fun for a Friday evening.

KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - MAY 11, 2010
Big ass can from Auchan, Marne La Vallee, France.
Pours a decent yellow with a lively body, probably from the air trying to leave this mess. Aroma is liver and apple juice with melted corn as gravy on the side. Flavor is musty apple, corn meal, mold, and a touch of hairspray in the finish. Reminds me of Foster’s, except this Foster’s is a drooling idiot riding behind the driver on a short bus. The alcohol vapors last for minutes after each sip. Watery mouthfeel. I think I’m now considered retodded after drinking this; it goes without saying that Dasilky will be receiving one when I return to the States.

No matter how I try to justify this, it was going to always be a "Bad Idea." 1 litre can, and rather expensive, @ Kardstadt in Dortmund City Centre. Straight from the can. Nose is fairly sweet with some floral notes and maybe some fruits. Lots of corn. Taste is corn with not much else other than a sickeningly amount of sugared-down grains and a separate alcohol bite. The two tassel back and forth for supremacy and the victim is my palate, stomach, and creditability. Like a Pabst on steroids, I saw my credit rating slip even further with the bank.
