Peachy gold. Good lace. Aroma of modern hops. Minty fruit. Taste is aroma with semi sweet malts. Brisk, assertive, sharp, bitter. An IPA. 7.5% Borderline double. arnold931 (1264) - Iowa, USA - MAY 24, 2016
Can. Pours mostly clear orange yellow with white head. Nose and taste is rye bread, pine, citrus. Dry pine bitter aftertaste. Okay. cbfobes (2891) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - DEC 30, 2015
16oz can picked up a local store, pours a hazy golden orange with a thin white head, aroma has a slight hop front end with a little bit of sweetness and malt showing as well, flavor has a sweeter front end with a little bit of hops in the finish, just ok mjg74 (3182) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 6, 2015
Canned from Capital Market. Hazy golden/amber in color. Lightly sweet nose with a good bit of hoppiness. A little bit of a sour note as well. Very hoppy and sweet. Full of flavor, but too sweet. Good hoppiness and pretty clean. Gets a little cloying. Not bad though.

Can at Mugishutei. The viking label attracted me, sharp citrus/pine hop punch in the face with a lingering bitterness, sweet caramel and alcohol. Quite a hoppy one, maybe a bit too boozy and unrefined. fiulijn (21264) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 7, 2015
Can from Darby’s Liquor Store, VancouverKoskela (505) - Marysville, California, USA - JAN 8, 2015
Golden color, bright, clean, with medium sized head. Mild and generic aroma, soap and grains. Lean body, not too weak; simple malt profile, cereally accent, a bit bready, with strong bitterness, some woody resins, but not much hop quality.
Drinkable (single) IPA.
I get heavy citrusy and almost grassy hop notes with a heavy body malt aroma in this hazy yellow orangie brew with a small white head. For an imperial its rather light bodied and not sweet. There is hop flavor but no real bitterness. I do get the citrus hop flavor that kinda lingers and some of the sweet from the malt. Not a bad beer but not an imperial. A beer named after Thor’s hammer or Masterchief’s armour should be far stronger that this. Pours a hazy straw with a frothy head. Aroma is of pine, citrus, mango, and cereal. Tastes of cereal, caramel, mango, citrus, and resin near the end. Very tropical. Has a chewy medium body with average carbonation. A little bit of a tongue coater. Not a bad beer but doesn’t live up to the style. BrewGoblin (632) - Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - NOV 9, 2014
I hate trying to rate beers by category sometimes. Is this a good tasting beer? Yeah, I really enjoyed it. Is it a DIPA? Fuck no, not a chance! It’s a hazy golden yellow with a massive off-white head. Powerful pine and citrus hops, pineapple, cereal and caramel tickle the nose. A smooth, sweet and strong taste of tropical fruits covered in caramel with a resin aftertaste. It’s very low in the bitterness region with mid-soft carbonation and mild chewiness. A good beer, a terrible DIPA.
