When you have to convey this via writing it's even more difficult because you obviously have to type how you talk, and I know I'm not the only one who can say he's lost a significant other or two because I lapsed in my German accent during an email.

Easy drinking slightly sweet taste clear lager. Minimal lace. Not particularly malty taste has a bit of an aftertaste.

Well, well - a Thai beer brewed to the Reinheitsgebot! A bottle from 7-11 at Sukkothai ancient city. Aroma: cereal. Appearance: clear amber, generous head settling to 2-3mm. Palate: light-bodied and thin, average carbonation, sweet at the finish. Taste: lightly sweet and bitter, well-balanced. Not unpleasant, but ultimately lacking in flavour.

Bottle. Clear yellow, small white head. Grainy aroma. Sweet, grainy flavour, slighty doughy. Meh.

There is (almost) no such thing as a really good beer in Southeast Asia, even if they claim to be German (which this one is not!). Federbräu is drinkable and better then most of its peers, yet far away from a good brew.

320ml from can bought at a Family Mart in Chiang Mai. Far from a real German Helles, but at least its scarce flavour is not bad. Pale, light, easy-drinkable

50cl bottle pours a clear gold with some frothy, white head. Nose has honey, grassy, skunky butter. Flavor is malt and honey, butter, grass. Finishes corny sweet. Woof.

Been a while since I had a beer that integrated white out so well. Golden pour with ok head. Crisp finish. Bottle thanks to Gendv3000
