12oz bottle, I think from budznsudz. nose is booze and chocolate. pour is pitch black with minimal head. Taste is only lightly boozy, slightly thin, but at the same time, very drinkable. seems a bit light overall, though, really. even the beer has light brown highlights. overall decent.

At the Fegleys Brewfest. The flavor is brown sugar, bourbon, chocolate. The aroma is bourbon, chocolate. The appearance is deep black, tan head. Nice, milky, creamy mouthfeel and flavor, nice. The finish is creamy, bourbon. Medium in body. Good overall.

On tap at Uno’s Hamilton. Everything I like about a bourbon barrel stout except just ever so thin on the mouthfeel - and a little sour, a little boring. Put it into context though, a boring bourbon barrel stout is not really that boring, is it.

Bottle. Pretty much completely black, brown head with good retention and lacing. Nice aroma of vanilla, dates, raisins, figs. Taste has roasted dark fruit, stewed plums, dark chocolate, vanilla. Delicious.

Pours a thick, opaque, very dark brown with a quickly fading mochacino colored head. Oaky vanilla and coconut spills out of the glass into the olfactory. Smooth and viscous. Alcohol warmth is evident. Coconut, vanilla, oak, and rich caramel.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. The aroma is big bourbon barrel notes. Coconut, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, and alcohol. The flavor is chocolate, vanilla, caramel. Much bigger body then I would have thought, based off of the aroma. Rich and warming.

Light bourbon notes and some milk chocolate in first bite. Pours black with OK head and lacing. Finishes with some sweetness and booze. Tap at devils den.

BillWyce (1086) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 29, 2014
Pours opaque ink-black with a small, thin dark tan head. Aromas of charred wood, coffee, and maybe a touch of caramel. Full body, with a mild thickness. Flavor of bourbon and vanilla up front, giving way to coffee. There is a woody note at the back, along with some bourbon and a touch of citrusy hop bitterness to lighten it a touch.

bottle thanks to DJ, 4 for 4 today brah!! .. . pours a deep brown .. mild barrel, brown bread crust, mild alcohol, and nuts .. . placid mouth, and a long simple finish .. . nice but unspectacular .. . . my plumbing is all screwed up… because it turns out, I do not own a garbage disposal.

Bottle as shown. Pours a dark brown with beige head that lasts. The aroma is a strong roast, oak, booze, smoke, and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with sweet roasted malt, dark chocolate, with nice sweet finish. Good
