The aroma is pumpkin spice. The appearance is orange, clear, thin white head. The flavor is pumpkin, pumpkin spice, ginger, cinnamon, spices, caramel. The finish is spices, sweet, slight alcohol. well hidden for this ABV. Medium in body. Decent, nice.

On tap at Crust. A mahogany brown pour. Aroma of butternut squash, spice, pine, malt, pumpkin and cloves. A flavor of pumpkin bread, spice, malt and alcohol. There is some warmth from the booze which there is plenty of. A bit sweet on the backend. A nice mix of strength, sweet and carbonation for a pumpkin.

GABF 2014. I don’t have a lot to say about it one. Standard pumpkin pie spices; cinnamon; cloves. Sweet, and it pulls off the traditional pumpkin beer well. Brown color.

Poured clear brown with a big white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma is pumpkin pie. Taste is pumpkin, caramel and rye bread. Good fall brew.

From bottle. Pours copper with little head. Smells strongly of cinnamon. Carbonated and light on the mouth, very little boozy flavor for a high ABV brew. There’s pumpkin in there along with all the expected spices. But the finish is surprisingly sweet. Very nice surprise.

Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Hazy copper color with a medium off-white head that diminishes quickly. Short strings of lace. Aroma of roasted malt and pumpkin spice. Medium to full body with flavors of caramel, ginger and roast malt. The finish is sweet with a pumpkin pie spice aftertaste. Above average overall.

Hazy dark orange pour under a medium tan head, smooth sweet palate, nice balance of spice and pumpkin. Delightful warmth to finish shows the alcohol in there, but it supports the flavor w/o distracting. Very good overall.

Golden-amber colored body, not much in the way of a head or lacing. Pumpkin, nutmeg, allspice. Straight forward pumpkin beer. Medium bodied, light sweetness, a bit of booze, gentle carbonation, spice is a bit grating towards the end.
