COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppiest Brew Works beer ever? The smell of grapefruit, a sweet malt flavor, and oh by the way, lots of hop bitterness. Brewed in the tradition of West Coast ales, we have put loads of malt and hops in our kettle to come up with this sensational ale. Brewed with pale, and crystal malts, hopped with Tomahawks for Yakima Valley, WA. This beer styled has made many a microbrewery famous and this one is sure to please all those who love hops.

Aurelius (5437) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 14, 2014
Muddled label, standard US longneck. Misty green-ish, light brown beer, dense off-white head. Caramel and light diacetyl aroma, with moderate vegetal hops. Heavy hopping, but not too bitter. Woody, some grassiness, caramel. Nice, bittersweet finish. Oily body. Diacetyl starts to get a little clingy. Thanks to LuckyDog.

What’s nice refreshing IPA, brownish in colour, huge hop flavor without going too overboard. Very easy to drink, dry but not too bitter.

Pours a cloudy orange with light lacing head. Aroma of grapefruit, resin, and a substantial malt backbone. Flavor is moderately sweet but balanced with a long lasting bitterness throughout. Very hoppy but balanced as well

Ed5388 (3488) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - DEC 22, 2013
12oz bottle (no bottled on date) from Berkeley Spirits. Pours a hazy orange color with a finger of frothy off white head. Not much aroma, but what I get is some graininess, with hints of grapefruit, and orange zest. Could be past its prime. Taste of grapefruit, old citrus skins, bready malts, orange marmalade, and pine. Taste was much better then the aroma. Don't think this was old, but definitely not its freshest. Average at best.

sonnycheeba (6214) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Tap at brewery. Pours clear amber with creamy, white head. Aroma is toasted and cereal malts, grassy notes, light fruit, and some faint herbs. Flavor is a little watery with some pale malts, light fruit esters, and subtle hop bitterness; dry finish. Light/medium body and low carbonation.

snoworsummer (5917) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Nitro at Allentown. Pours clear light copper with a frothy white head. Very smooth a mild feel. Tastes hoppy, dry, buy also mellow and creamy. Smells like creamy citrus hops and toffee. Light body and low carbonation.

Heh, heh. My bottle says caution hop explosion. Looks like a darker hefe. Thin viscous creamy head. Big giant dull volatile hop aroma. Sickening, mouth coating, cloying sweet hop bitter finish bullshit. Another slug? Ditto. THAR, you have it. If you are a refined lager lover, this soupy slugger may trigger your girlie gag mechanism. Throw caution aside, this stuff must be bigger than 8%. Yes terribly and rudely on style for a double IPA.

b3shine (9027) - Indiana, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a hazy orange with off-white head that dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells solid; bitter hops with a sweet, malty backbone. Tastes like it smells, only not quite as bitter. Solid on the palate. A decent IPA.

3.5
ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - APR 17, 2013
On tap at Varga in Philly. Pours a dark amber color with a one finger beige head that slowly dissolves, leaving some spotty lacing. Slightly bitter in the nose with some citrus notes and a slight sweet breadiness. Taste has a smooth bitterness with oily resinous and piney hops. Thick malt backbone with toasted bread and caramel sweetness and a slight warmth in the drying finish. Medium body, medium carbonation, sticky and dry on the tongue.

abcfan (920) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Pretty good. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet malts, honey, and citrus. Medium bodied and smooth. Finishes sweet and sticky.
