Pours an orange amber hie with a good medium off-white head with some lacing. Aroma and Taste is sweet caramel malt with some piney citrus hops, grapefruit. Palate is a medium body with mild carbonation. Finish is caramel malt, some yeast, some fruity citrus and grapefruit notes ending with some good dry bitter hopped piney citrus hops for balance. Flavor and aroma of malt, and yeast come out more as it warms up. Overall a good IPA

12 oz single from Spirits Brick. Poured a slightly thinner body of orange/copper under an average sized frothy white head. Aroma does not deserve the name "Hop Explosion" maybe "Hop(s) Added". Notes of citrus rind, caramel malts, dry gains, bread, lemon zest. Fuller body with stronger carbonation and a full creamy mouthfeel that really fizzes up once it’s past your lips, dry bitter finish with some nice lasting power. Flavor is better then the aroma with notes of bitter grapefruit, citrus rind, dry greains, toast, lemon zest. Not bad but the hops are just a touch dry on this one.

nice golden amber brew has a pronounced grapefruit hop aroma and taste with a bit of tropical fruit and some noticeable spring water freshness that can sometimes take on the flavor of shampoo. harsh caustic moment near the finish.

I thought this was really good. Well balanced IPA, lots of hops and and a clean crisp finish. Bonus points for a super smooth complex palate and the high volume white lacing it left on my glass. Sessionable as well.

Bitter IPA with hints of grapefruit. Mild to medium body missing hop finish for the amount of bitter smell and taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Goodgrief (2028) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - MAR 11, 2012
Bottle purchased at Allentown brewpubs, consumed within a week. Beer is honey amber color, hazy. Aroma is fruity. Sweet but slightly foul, like overripe pink grapefruit. Hugely bitter and not pleasant (yes, I’m a hophead). Just not great, which is disappointing because I thought Hop’solutely was fantastic.

pineypower (3325) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - MAR 11, 2012
Bottle from Canal’s Berlin. Pours out an attractive copper color with a small white head. Aroma is of some grassy/earthy hops, light tartness and bready malts. Taste is of some white grapefruit, citrus, earthy, spicy hops, stale bread, and some sweet malty notes. Meh.
