Really good, crisp, grapefruit taste. Very natural tasting. It masks the 11.5 incredibly. I would love to have this again.

Bottle at Moriartys. Deep clear orange amber with a slim soapy head. Bright earthy hops. Dried blood orange peels. Autumn leaves. Truffles. Plum resins. Tallow. Black peppercorns. Dry and succulent. Cannot think of another earthy hop beer that feels this sharp. Very pleasantly surprised. hman43 (1747) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - JUL 5, 2015

This is a beast of an IPA, so much so that it might as well be a really hoppy American Strong Ale. Boozy, bitter, tropical fruits, syrupy sweet malt backbone. The grapefruit aroma is the most pronounced. It’s a sipper. beeratarian (237) - cleveland, Ohio, USA - JAN 27, 2015
No date on bottle. Pours a golden amber with a thin white, tight head. Lots if sediment floating ( not expected ). Aroma is pine and a little sweet resin. Definitely alcohol esters. Flavor is more of a Barleywine. Might have some age which is skewing my rating. Some pine and citrus are present but mostly aged maltiness. Not terrible, but too much alcohol for the amount of hops. dlovell2 (2236) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JAN 1, 2015
Pours rich hazy copper color with off white head. Aroma is citrus with pineapple and pine. Thick syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor starts out with sweet fruity malt and citrus followed by pineapple and finishing with a thick pine resin. Some lingering bitterness and mouth left tingling. popway (223) - California, USA - NOV 27, 2014
I dunno I can see through this one. As in what it aspires to be.
Yet this beer is tier 2 in IPAs for me.
Straight forward and to the point.
Light foam goes quickly. Fresh hop aroma. Golden colored.

Share by Pinkzambia A big sharp IPA. Hazy golden and a big mostly piney aroma and flavor. Dry and a bit hash. Definitely a double
