Thanks to boamr for this one as an extra in trade. Pours a salmon-flesh color with a white head. Nose is raspberry juice, grass, yeast, and berry puree/ juice. Flavor is similar. This one has a lot of raspberry presence that does not play nicely with the saison qualities it is supposed to meld with. Light to medium

A very nice and refreshing summer beer. A wonderful raspberry aroma from an amber pour with just a touch of pink in the head. The flavor has a lot of raspberry and also a nice beer flavor. Nice balance between the sweet and bitter. Nice one.

Bottle. Funky aroma. Cloudy golden/amber body with medium lasting head. The bottle lists it as a Saison with Raspberry. I definitely notice the saison qualities. Hits of lemon, pepper, yeast with a strong raspberry finish. Overall, crisp and dry. Slight bland aftertaste.

Bottle: Space monkey, haha, funny name. Cool label. Big pop off the cork. Pours an orange color.... good head. Sasion type spices on the nose, with a slight tart of raspberry popsicle. Taste is average saison, some nice spices, lemon, yeasty, dry, some hay with some slight raspberry notes. Slightly tart... Not bad. Medium body, carbonation high. Overall: Decent, Thanks wolf man!

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a slight pink hue. Great tart berry aroma with slight lemon notes coming through, very light and refreshing aroma. Light body, with a clean crisp finish. Nice slightly tart berry note upfront that has slight lemon notes with a good balance of bitter, not really noticeable sweet. Crisp, clean, light and refreshing. Enjoyable for a fruit beer without being too overpowering. Bring this to your next summer get together and the ladies and non-beer drinkers will rejoice! Overall: (B+)

Bottle. Pours reddish amber. White head. Nose/taste of raspberry juice, yeast and lemongrass. Light with raspberry juice overpowering the complexity of the saison. Sessionable. Good "lawnmower beer."

Bottle. 12 oz. Split with and courtsey of Vibn Pours a light ruby with a tightly, bubbled, thiny laced off-white head. Cool trailing lace throughout. Aroma of raspberry, wheat, pomegranate, pepper, and lemon zest. Medium bodied with an agressively carbonated, lively, tangy mouthfeel. Flavors of pilsner, lemon, and very faint raspberry tart in the finish. Very good fruit beer.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 4/28/11

Aroma: The nose is pretty much dominated by the raspberry, with a little bit of yeast as well
Appearance: A slightly hazy amber-orange color with a small white head and some decent lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet, fruity and yeasty, much like the aroma would have suggested
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a sticky feel, and leaves a cloying sweetness on the mouth
Overall Impression: So, how to describe this one... Well, they can call it what they want, but this is a fruity beer. You know how it goes, a fruit beer by any name would taste as sweet. Anyway, this one wasn’t really my style, too one dimensionally sweet and fruity for my tastes.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2011
Bottle. Pours a hazy copper body with a one finger frothy white head. The nose is not all that bad, some wheat, lightly yeasty, and a fairly decent raspberry fruit. The flavor is not so good though. The raspberry flavor is a little too surupy and artificial tasting, and there’s no funkiness or farmhouse character that makes it past it. Some odd orange citrus notes under the raspberry that is a little weird as well. Medium bodied with a touch of clinginess and fizzy carbonation. This is just a weird beer. It’s a fail at a Saison and a Fruit Beer.

Arayaga2 (2197) - portland, Oregon, USA - APR 22, 2011
Copper colored with a cm of white head. Aroma is tart raspberry, with a citrusy/tropical layer beneath that. Taste is the same, and not too cloying, but pleasantly tart. The base strikes me as more of a wit than saison. $3/12oz
