The only thing that hurts this beer is it has a bit of a watery finish. Big raspberry aroma on the nose. Very tart on the tongue with a bit of pepper. Hides its 7% well. Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - NOV 1, 2011
THOUGHTS: Nice beer. Refreshing summer thirst quencher. Would probably be a little better with a little less raspberry. It was fairly complex, but the raspberry dominated the more subtle flavors and aromas. Good saison, great fruit beer.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a light, pinkish orange with a large, white head that mostly diminished, but left excellent lacing. The aroma was fairly weak. It had light to moderate spicy and dusty yeast; slight doughy yeast; both sweet and tart raspberries; and lemon. The initial flavor was lightly sweet, lightly acidic and slightly bitter; while the finish was lightly sweet, moderately sour and light to moderately acidic with an average to long duration. There was raspberry, lemony citrus, a little pepper, tart raspberries, lots of yeast, spicy yeast, dusty yeast, slight funk, sour raspberry, sour lemon, and sweeter raspberries. Everything blended well. The light to medium body was a little creamy and then rather dry with lightly fizzy carbonation and a dry and slightly alcoholic finish. nuplastikk (6289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 18, 2012
750ml split with Anndiesel, from her East Coast beer run. This is a pretty cool beer, certainly raspberry forward, but firmly planted in Saison. Unfiltered raspberry red-orange. Sweet, a little too sweet really. Nice Belgian-esque carbonation. A well made beer, just lacks a little finesse and subtlety. Really comes off bigger than 7%. The yeast really shines, offering all sorts of funky sweet nuances. Pretty solid offering, interesting and unique, but a little sweet and boozy too. ibrubeer (385) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - MAY 27, 2014
Draft. Nice raspberry aroma, and a nice fruit tartness to the flavor. Does not taste as strong as advertised. betty refreshing summer beer. I liked it! j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 31, 2010
Had this while camping at BCTC this year. Pours an orange amber with a gentle rouge hue to it under a medium sized white head. Fuzzy raspberry, hay, a bit of vanilla. Light raspberry flavors, a bit of tartness, a touch of tanginess. Tangy wheat and raspberry. Tasty.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a slight pink hue. Great tart berry aroma with slight lemon notes coming through, very light and refreshing aroma. Light body, with a clean crisp finish. Nice slightly tart berry note upfront that has slight lemon notes with a good balance of bitter, not really noticeable sweet. Crisp, clean, light and refreshing. Enjoyable for a fruit beer without being too overpowering. Bring this to your next summer get together and the ladies and non-beer drinkers will rejoice! A very nice and refreshing summer beer. A wonderful raspberry aroma from an amber pour with just a touch of pink in the head. The flavor has a lot of raspberry and also a nice beer flavor. Nice balance between the sweet and bitter. Nice one. MattShizzle (613) - Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 15, 2011
Bottle. Copper color, fairly cloudy and bubbly appearance. Aroma is strongly of raspberry. Very raspberry in flavor - tart and fizzy. Pretty good. Doesn’t taste as strong as it is. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - MAY 2, 2012
Draft. Ruby golden pour with white head. Pepper, space, tart raspberry tones. Finished with raspberry and spice finish. closey22 (1946) - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA - JUL 13, 2012
hazy, rosy, amber, sexy w/ barely a rim of head; aroma of subtle fruit and something else(yeast, wheat???); flava is nice sweet/tart blend of raspberry but not syrupy at all; it finishes tart dry then the raspberry says hi!; feels crisp and light but fizzes enough to excite the tongue and leave me wanting another drink. get it, NOW!
