Tap at the Brewpub as part of sampler. Pours jet black with small head. Nose of chocolate and coffee. tastes of lots of coffee, dark chocolate, earth, smoke, vanilla, and woody. medium bodied and creamy. very easy drinker but tasty non-the-less. MercyDevice (365) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Tastes like Guinness, but not quite as good. Dark brown with a light brown head. Strong coffee and chocolate notes. DiarmaidBHK (6180) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2011
Pours Lehigh brown from tap which is apropos considering where we are. Definite chocolate notes on the nose. On the tongue the roasted quality is more pronounced but the chocolate is still there. Finishes very dry which I like.

Brew Works Steelworkers’ Oatmeal Stout in pint from tap at Bethlehem location. O.G. 1.058 5.4% abv. Black with creamy almost white head which lingered nicely. Not much on the nose. Smooth, milky and refreshing. Taste is similar to an irish stout. Roasted barley, chocolate, and black malts. Brewed with Fuggle and East Kent Golding hops. Medium bodied drinkable stout that won’t fill you up. Birdiebeagle (958) - Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 19, 2010
On Tap @ Bethlehem Brew Works Pours a good black with a good tan head. The head lasts okay and laces decently. Has a good aroma of roast, milk chocolate, with hints of caramel and coffee. Has an average carbonation. A medium body. has a real good flavor. Good amount of sweetness, but blended real well. A good compliment to some food pairings. the finish is wonderful and a good aftertaste. This is a real good beer, I like it a lot. BREWMUSKCLES (2769) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 15, 2010
nice deep rolling pour, a black brew with dark grey head. toasty and smoley flavor that has a bit of ash in a little cocoa. smooth and substantial enough it is somewhat silky. refreshing, this flavorful one stays good till the end of the pint. kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 14, 2010
On tap, Bethlehem location. Pours a flat black body with a small beige head. Very dry roasted malt nose with a little coffee and bakers chocolate. The flavor is dry and roasty with touches of oatmeal. Finishes with some chocolate notes. Light malt bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall this was a very nice Oatmeal Stout. Full flavored for the style with nice body. Listigovers (1384) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 22, 2010
Easily the best out of the sampler I had at Brew Works. Good enough to pick up a growler :) very smooth, chocolate bursts out in the flavour. Nice long roast and chocolate finish, medium bodied and VERY drinkable. Will be splitting the growler 3 ways tonight, cheers to a good beer!
