From old tasting notes. Clear brassy gold color with a few small bubbles leading to a creamy white head. Excellent sweet malt nose and a faint hop background. Sweet malt flavor has grainy, biscuity notes. Grassy bitter hops in finish. Nice malt/hop balance. Very good.

33cl Dose. Hellgelbes Bier, flacher Schaum. Herbe Getreidenoten. Trockener Geschmack.

hauxe (1024) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - DEC 20, 2015
Rated from old notes. Light bodied with dry aftertaste. Nothing special but there is a nice warmth that develops. pleasant with food.

330ml Bottle in VIP Bar, Basel (6 CHF):
Another very poor Swiss pale lager & far too similar to the same brewery’s ’Original’ beer, the only difference being this one is worse. There’s some cheap lager malts & corn with a light body that seemed watered down, bland & boring; definitely one to avoid.

Marcius (466) - Geneva, SWITZERLAND - OCT 22, 2015
Golden color, clear liquid and minimal head. Light hoppy aroma. Taste is a bit bitter, but still light. Nice blonde... Good hops

Alusmamuts (2171) - LATVIA - SEP 30, 2015
Pale golden clear with rich white creamy head. Slight malty aroma. Nice mild bitterness properly mixed with some sourness, remarkable carbonation. Slight bitter aftertaste. Good, refreshing, but at the same time quite typical and thus to certain extent also bit boring.

kto (1702) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 15, 2015
pours clear golden colour with a big fluffy white head and nice lacing. nose: malts, biscuit, caramel, grassy hops. nutty and slightly bitter flavour; grassy hops again, salt. somewhat oily mouthfeel. pleasant semi-dry finish. one of the better feldschlösslis.
