Cask @ Charlies, Horsens Ølfestival 2006. Amber color with small white head. Toasted and caramel malty aroma and flavour with notes of fruit. With a fruity and hoppy finish.

Cask at Jyske Øldage in Horsens 2006. A pale amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit and malt, as well as light notes of caramle. The flavor is sweet malty, but with light notes of both sulphur and metal.

[email protected], Helsinki. Reddish amber colour with small creamy off white head. Weak flowery hops and some nuttyness in aroma. Flavour is malts, flowery hops and some caramel. Gets very spicy on the tongue in the aftertaste.

Cask gravity at The George, Bethersden. Pale chestnut with thin white head. Fruity malt aroma, bit of nettle and red berry. Bit of stale malt too. Bit thin in mouth, earthy hop finish. Bit muddy. Difficult to smell anything as the woman opposite me at the table has extremely strong perfume.

Copper brown, good creamy off-white head. Nutty, toffeish aroma. Malty flavor and aftertaste with late nutty-hoppy bitterness. Nice balanced real ale.

Cask (Kitty’s, Helsinki) Red healthy head. Seriously sour malty aroma, alas seems to be because we’re at the end of the barrel. It’s metalic body is fruity sweet, I’m sure I’d like this, so will re-rate if possible.

Cask at Horsens Beerfestival. Disappointing beer, this one. It poured clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Malty and hayish aroma, and a flavor on the malty side with some notes of hay. Thin body and some hops in the finish. Boring. (061028)

Cask. Nice clear copper colour. Quite rough and unpleasant bitterness. Green apple flavour. Gets a bit maltier as you get used to the bitterness.

imdownthepub (15524) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2005
Cask Conditioned at The King Arthur Hotel, Reynoldstown, Glamorgan. Dark brown with red tinge, healthy head. Lovely aroma comes from this, almost cider like with a heavy hint of apples in the body. Well constructed with rich malt and a spicy hop finish. Very nice indeed.
