UPDATED: APR 2, 2017 Pours a clear orange amber colour with a small off white head. Caramel and nutty aroma, some desert apple. Some caramel malt sweetness, again some nut flavours but a bit watery and no depth of flavour or distinct bitterness.

Meh. Unusually for me I got quite a lot on the nose - nice almondy and fruity aroma. Tastes quite dull though with not a lot else to write home about.

(Bottle) Pours clear amber brown, with little head. Subtle aroma, slightly nutty, slightly appley. Medium body, good carbonation. Unusual and pleasant taste. Red berries in foretaste. Nuts and marzipan develop over this in the mid-palate, and dominate in the finish. Unusual, easy drinking.

Bottle. Dark copper/orange. Not much of a head. Aroma of malts, nuts, marzipan and wet laundry. Taste is malty, nutty and toffee. Some red fruits and a little sourness are calling from the background. Fruity and bitter. A little bit creamy and soapy. Medium carbonation. Smooth and refreshing. I like it.

Pours a brown colour. Aroma is of freshly mown hay and savlon. Taste is a bit chemical, some chlorine and medecinal. Not my kind of thing

Bitter klasyczny i konserwatywny, ale zbyt malo gozki jak dla mnie i na ten styl. Brak piany, prawie calkowity, na jeden palec byla. Kolor bursztynowy, klarowny. Zapach kory i lupiny kokosa. W smaku delikatne, malo slodowe i lekko gozkawe

500ml bottle from Aldi - Brown body, off-white head, crystal clear. Nose is caramel toffee heavy, with some red fruits in there. Taste is a little tart, again caramel up front, but with a malty finish which isnt that pleasant. Watery. Endured it because Id bought it attitude with this.

Can, 440 ml. Pours clear deep red/amber with a finger of very lively head and a lot of visible carb - large bubbles. Head doesnt stick around long. Aroma is mostly light caramel-y malts with some molasses, dark fruits and a hint of ester. Very sweet. Taste is mostly (slightly stale) bready and biscuity malt with some slight fruity hints, maybe apple, and is quite watery and light again. Much less sweet though bitterness is very mild too. Body is light and texture is mostly watery with medium carb - though a little sticky at the end. Nothing wrong with it but fairly dull.

Amber brown colour, quickly dissipating head. Taste of rancid socks. .An awful drink for a lager drinker looking for a buzz with something else but fans of English mild ales might see the love. It offers nothing special. A typical mild ale.

Served in a tulip from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear amber colour with a fast diminishing white head. Aroma is quite complex - bread, yeast, molasses, red fruits, malts with winery notes. Taste is malts, red fruits, somewhat nutty, nicely balanced. Medium body with medium carbonation. Quite a unique and very well made brew!
