Pours a light copper color with an eggshell foamy head. Slightly bitter with medium hop. Somewhat disappointing. Lacked in body.

Boothman (17) - Stockport, Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2017
500ml bottle. Copper coloured with white head. Smells metallic, with some slight spice. Initial taste is malt, slight sweetness, giving way to a watery, metallic alkaline kind of tinge. Feels watered down somehow, a distinct lack of body. Fairly bitter. Oddly reminiscent of Red Tizer. Proclaims itself "the National Ale of Wales". I feel sorry for them. Poor.

twindadplus2 (720) - Wisconsin, USA - JUL 19, 2017
Clear pale brown color with a thin white head. Light grassy hop aroma and sweet malt. Flavor is malty sweet with more bitterness than most English bitters I’ve tried. Light bodied and slippery on the palate with a mild bitter finish. Nothing flashy but a decent, drinkable beer.

At Home amber colored body with an off white head and with a fruity malt aroma a fruity malt sweet taste with a light bitter finish

Bottle from Aldi. Pours clear amber with thick creamy head. Good lacing. Aroma sweet with plum, slight spiciness and a little woody.

BeardedAvenger (837) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2017
Quickly getting through thirds of beers I’ve been gifted and are taking up room. Whilst pret t weak, there’s a pleasant sweetness to the aroma, makes me think of marzipan or a glue stick. Medium chestnut. Thin bright white head. Sweet and sour. Some bitterness into the finish. Fruit. Acidic berries. Quite light. Watery. Lively carbonation, gives the acidity some edge. Dry low key finish. Much better than I was expecting. Perhaps subdued but an easy drinker.

gripweed57 (2584) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - APR 26, 2017
From old tasting notes. Tawny amber orange color with a creamy tan head. Bittersweet toasted malt nose. Tangy sweet malt flavor has a hint of sour apple. Zesty dry finish and aftertaste. Lightly carbonated.

Parmenion777 (302) - Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2017
UPDATED: APR 2, 2017 Pours a clear orange amber colour with a small off white head. Caramel and nutty aroma, some desert apple. Some caramel malt sweetness, again some nut flavours but a bit watery and no depth of flavour or distinct bitterness.

Meh. Unusually for me I got quite a lot on the nose - nice almondy and fruity aroma. Tastes quite dull though with not a lot else to write home about.

Pyobon (1416) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 19, 2016
(Bottle) Pours clear amber brown, with little head. Subtle aroma, slightly nutty, slightly appley. Medium body, good carbonation. Unusual and pleasant taste. Red berries in foretaste. Nuts and marzipan develop over this in the mid-palate, and dominate in the finish. Unusual, easy drinking.

Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - DEC 15, 2016
Bottle. Dark copper/orange. Not much of a head. Aroma of malts, nuts, marzipan and wet laundry. Taste is malty, nutty and toffee. Some red fruits and a little sourness are calling from the background. Fruity and bitter. A little bit creamy and soapy. Medium carbonation. Smooth and refreshing. I like it.
