Grumbo (3469) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JUL 30, 2017
Bottle from a supermarket in Wales. Poured mid brown with a large off-white head. Aroma of chocolate and malt, with some roasting, and dark fruit. Medium plus sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Quite light body, watery oily texture, and soft carbonation.

Bottle. Black. Bitter roasted/burnt malts (very liquorice, bitter coffee). Some fruit (berries). Some hoppy bitterness. Rather thin. Bitter throughout. Dry bitter roasty finish. Too bitter! Unpleasant burnt bitterness! (2008)

Zwart/bruin van kleur, beetje olie achtig, kleine schuimkraag. Ruikt lekker, zoet, drop. Smaakt zoet, bitter, waterig, koffie achtig.

DutchDrebus (6077) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - NOV 9, 2012
Bottle @ home. Pitch black, small lacing off-white head. Smells raisins, roasty, slightly coffee. Tastes coffee, roasty, vanilla, red fruits, liquorice. Not bad. Medium body, soft carbo.

Test vom 4.1.2011, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,12,12,12,12,12 - 12,10

Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - JAN 30, 2012
Black in the glass with a decent head that sticks nice to the glass. Roasted malts and coffee, decent sweetness. A bit to watery for my taste, and something weird getting trough near the end.
