Pours with average sized head, light golden color in glass. Beer has fresh grassy aroma with herbal hoppy tones. Flavor isn’t too malty, dry overall and reminding of rice notes in beer. Light carbonation and taste make this beer very refreshing! MartinKubert (862) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 8, 2004
Plastic and rubber in aroma. Malty and dry. Quite bitter and hoppy. Slightly alcoholic. Pretty sweet end and crispy aftertaste. Really good! Schroppfy (2362) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - MAR 24, 2011
Crisp and clear pale golden yellow, incredible head, lovely looking beer. Aroma strongly hay and grass. Flavor of intense sourdough, even a little rye snappiness, moderately-to-highly bitter, low sweetness. Delicious. Felsenbrau has these pretty nice screwtops... Bottle. Good hoppy aroma. Clear golden colour. The flavour is nicely clean. Some dust, good aromatic hop flavour.

Pretty neutral, a bit grainy aroma.
Amberish, low carbonation and head.
More hop flavor than I would have expected from the aroma. A soft longlasting range of hops on top of a solid body, I am however missing a real bitterhop sting towards the end to make it a Pilsner, more of a helles really.
Nevertheless quite pleasant.

Bottle. Creamy barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with large white head. Creamy barley malt and bitter grass hops flavor. Nice - very hoppy for a German Pils/ Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - NOV 8, 2004
Golden coloured. Hoppy, grassy aroma with some notes of Russian plastic. Very hoppy flavour with plenty of bitterness in the finish. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2005
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Slightly pale golden, hazy pilsner with a creamy head, that sticks to the glass. Lots of hops here that leave both aroma and bitterness. 200304 pivnizub (10910) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 29, 2007
Screw-cap bottle (courtesy of joss): Straw golden coloured, small lacing white head; moderate grainy-dusty nose with some hoppy illusions; moderate bitter-seet flavour, light bodied, soft MF; distinctive bitter-sweet-aromatic-hoppy finish. No problem to find worse Pilseners in Germany...........
