01/04/17. Wedding at Tattersall’s, Newmarket. This was a tick. Saccharine sweet aroma. Light brown. Scarcely a white head. Sweet and sour. Sugary. Lemon. Any beer is there but in the background. Watery. Lively carbonation. The saccharine returns in the finish. OK. Would rather have one of Fentiman’ s cokes.

Bottle. Appearance - golden with a very thin head. Nose - lemon, hint of ginger and sweet malt. Taste - more of the same. sugary lemon linger. Palate - light bodied, sweet, etc. Overall - good for what it is. It’s just not a real drink.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear amber with no real head. Aromas of lemonade, hint of ginger and sweet malt. Taste is sweet lemonade and watery beer. Sweet finish.

Bottle from Total Wine. Crystal clear golden yellow color, white head that persists. Lemon and grapefruit aroma. Taste is lightly bitter mixed citrus. Full bodied as its name implies, at least compared to most other shandies.

jamesie1857 (2111) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2016
275ml bottle from Dobbies Garden Centre - Clear amber body, solid foamy white head. The nose is clearly lemonade, little bit of malty beer. Taste sweet, as expected - it is just pop though.

Patrickctenchi (6552) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAY 31, 2016
Bottle: Clear, pale gold with a small white head. Ginger, lemon-lime, barley aroma. Taste is definitely "Sprite"-like.....but there is a good bit of "beerness" in there as well.... Pretty pleasant for what it is.

Vighals (3912) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - MAY 21, 2016
Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter villa farris, fruktig lett sitron. Søt smak, uten serlig bitterhet. Smaker også Villa farris. Kort. God dagen derpå!

Meget syrlig, og den mangler noget rundhed. Ikke min stilartsøl, men den er nu heller ikke nogen god radler.

275 ml bottle. BB 28/Nov/15. (K-Citymarket) Tampere, Finland.
Clear bright orange golden color with a small white head. Mild citrus and ginger as well as mild maltiness in the aroma. The flavor is sweetness, lemonade and malt. Not my favorite.
