Bottle from Systembolaget. Tastes like Sprite or 7up, not beer at all. Not bad but can’t find any reason drinking this.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2011 Bottle 275ml. A clear light amber colour with a small white head. An aroma of malt, caramel and citrus. The taste i heavy sweet. A medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation and long finish.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2011 One of the best shandys out there. Nose is lemonade, sugar, vanilla and spicy malt beer notes. Taste is sweet sugary lemonade, malty ale and spicy vanilla notes. Fantastic soda drink but not a beer!

12 oz. bottle from Food & Fermentation. Talk about a session beer! This .5% ABV beer is crystal clear and golden. A nice layer of shaving cream like white head. A sweet aroma is not big but quite pleasant. Fruit and some malt. The flavor is also very sweet. It is full of fruit syrup, like what you get out of canned fruit. Pineapple, pears, lime, lemons. A feel that coats the tongue with fizz. Sweet fruit is the story with this beer. Oh, that ABV, too.

275ml twist off brown bottle. It pours very nicely actually. It is a clear gold with a foamy bright white head that sticks for a bit and recedes to some thick lacing. I’m not sure about the smell. IT smells like if you juiced a lemon and let that little cup of juice sit out in the sun on a summer day and then smell it at the end. The flavor is super sweet and cloying. The malt is lifeless and buttery. The sweetness is the main flavor, maybe a hint of lemon. This is pretty bad even for soda standards. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 11-29-2010 04:48:00

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2012 *NOTE: Guest reviewer! This was sold as soda at the store.* Pours clear gold with present carbonation and a finger of white head. Smells like unroasted malts and maybe a touch of vanilla and strong citrus notes. Tastes strongly of lemonade or lemon-beer, citrusy like an IPA without extreme bitterness; still maintains some bitterness of an alcoholic beverage but is primarily sweet. Medium-bodied with a sticky, foamy texture and a decent amount of mouth-carbonation, Fentimans Full Shandy finishes with a distinct beer flavor and a hint of lemon. *NOTE: This was a guest reviewer, and sold as a soda.*

Bottle from a World Market store. The body is a deep gold color with a thin white head on top. The nose is malty with bread crust and a little bit of cola. There is also some hint of Strawberry Twizzlers. The taste is sweet like bread dough mixed with peaches. There is a little bit more of the strawberry Twizzlers taste. Sweet and refreshing, the beer flavor is light, it’s like a fruit beer with low abv. Nice.

so it’s shady, it’s supposed to be like cola. sparkling gold body, small white head, dies quickly, as expected. nose and flavor of pear and ginger. mild to medium pepperiness with a light bodied malt/beer/sweet flavor. overall it’s flavorful, light and refreshing as are most fentimans soda.

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Bready, beery, cellary nose with some dried fruit notes. Rather lemony flavor, some beer in the back. A little bitterness and some bread in the end. Thin on the palate. Not bad, but nothing I would drink a lot of if available. 100815

Golden with a small white head. Caramel aroma with a hint of lemon, and a faint chemical note. Sweet caramel and lemonade flavour with a slightly tart finish
