An India pale ale to round off the current selection of Feral pale ales. Hophog is an American-style IPA with strong pine needle and citrus aroma followed by an aggressive bitterness and a dry finish.

Pours a cloudy coppery colour with a small white head. Intensely peach and mango in the aroma, love the smell! Taste is peaches and passionfruit, which trancends over to a long grapy finish with just the right amount of bitterness. Refreshing palate, soft carbonation and a medium body. This is a really good IPA, it really took me by supprise.

Bottle at home. Pours cloudy orange golden with an off white head. Aroma of nettles, weedy hops, pine and some citrus. Flavor is light sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Hazy amber color, frothy head. The aroma is a bit fruity and malty. The malt and caramel flavor is a bit stale, moderate residual sweetness, correct bitterness, with hop fruits and resins in small quantities; a bit like American IPAs from the 90’s.

Thick head. Pine needle aroma. Nice hoppy flavor without being overpowering until the end as with most ipa's. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

What is an IPA I hear you ask? Well crack open a feral hop hog and step into the wonders of a modern american IPA. Fruity aroma, rich white head, crisp pine hops and a sweet malt spine. A perfect gateway IPA and a solid ’go to’ beer. Would drink time and time again.

5/XII/13 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: n/a (2013-1117) Thanks to Bo for transporting the bottle!

Little hazy orange beer, aery off-white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very piny, citrus, bit sweet, ripe fruits, bit soapy. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very lovely citrus flavours, piny, sweet ripe fruits, nice bitterness, some grapefruit. Aftertaste: very fruity, piny hops as well, bit grassy, citrus, some grapefruit. Seriously, this is a very lovely beer!

Oh so good. Big bodied with citrus flavour hit followed by the long lingering hops. Looks great in the glass, with every mouthful grabbing your attention and reminding you that your drinking a great beer.

Pours a great deep gold but surprisingly almost no head. Smells of grapefruit, honey and pine needles. Taste of grapefruit, pine nuts, hint of watermelon. I'm not generally a big fan of IPAs but this isn't bad at all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A delicious IPA full of passionfruity citrussy deliciousness. Easily the best Oz IPA I’ve had.
