Full of flavour with a strong hoppy note and bitter finish. All round great beer

Great clarity for an American IPA with good head retention, strong aroma with an interesting mix of spruce and citrus. Reasonably high IBU score underlies the bitterness, but it still does not overpower the spruce and citrus flavours. I enjoy buying this in a growler from my neighbourhood specialty beer shop. northropfrye (3600) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 16, 2017
Murky orange Amber body white head and lacing. Pine and resin aroma. Taste is semi-bitter, resin, some malts. Nice beer. rchung (7) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 11, 2017 does not count
Packs a Hoppy punch to the limit of palatable. Layered palate with caramel finish. Good effort on bringing IPAs to the Australian market. slavb (12) - - JUL 10, 2017
The most balanced IPA I have ever tried. Very fruity, not too bitter. Nice aroma. The best.

Strong citrus aroma. Sweet and citrus hoppy flavored, quickly rounded off with a malty bitterness. Fairly strong metallic aftertaste.

Tap at the Royston Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, light grassy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, fresh, light fruit, woody light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This was one beer that I wanted to taste after having tasted the UK version brewed by Banks. This is a decent session beer and I’m pleased to say that the UK version is on a par with its Australian cousin! Jpmercer (115) - shakopee, Minnesota, USA - MAY 25, 2017
An India pale ale to round off the current selection of Feral pale ales. Hophog is an American-style IPA with strong pine needle and citrus aroma followed by an aggressive bitterness and a dry finish.Editor’s note: also known as American IPA, back label.

On tap. Schooner. Pours a deep amber, with a white head. Aroma: moderate to strong citrus, pine and earthy aromas. Taste: a good balance of citrus and pine flavours hits the palate followed by a pleasant lingering bitterness. Very well balanced and full of flavour. The hops dominate the brew more than the malts, but there is still a pleasant biscuity malt flavour to the beer. Great with spicy food, barbecued meat or as a stand alone drink. Probably the best Australian IPA.
