Fresh hops. Really fresh, bit of sweetness. Lingering hop aftertaste. Refreshing. Not too bitter, just the pleasant bitterness of the hops. Medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel.

Strong citrus aroma. Sweet and citrus hoppy flavored, quickly rounded off with a malty bitterness. Fairly strong metallic aftertaste.

Tap at the Royston Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, light grassy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, fresh, light fruit, woody light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This was one beer that I wanted to taste after having tasted the UK version brewed by Banks. This is a decent session beer and I’m pleased to say that the UK version is on a par with its Australian cousin! Jpmercer (51) - shakopee, Minnesota, USA - MAY 25, 2017

On tap. Schooner. Pours a deep amber, with a white head. Aroma: moderate to strong citrus, pine and earthy aromas. Taste: a good balance of citrus and pine flavours hits the palate followed by a pleasant lingering bitterness. Very well balanced and full of flavour. The hops dominate the brew more than the malts, but there is still a pleasant biscuity malt flavour to the beer. Great with spicy food, barbecued meat or as a stand alone drink. Probably the best Australian IPA.

Hazy amber with a small white head. Some sticky lacing. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruits. Taste adds pine, caramel and a strong bitterness. Enjoyable IPA, very classic American style without any hypes. Skarecrow (695) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 18, 2017
