Fresh hops. Really fresh, bit of sweetness. Lingering hop aftertaste. Refreshing. Not too bitter, just the pleasant bitterness of the hops. Medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 330ml. Hazy amber colour. Thin ecru colour head. Good lacing. Aroma is malty, delicate sweet with a lot of hops with tropical fruits notes. First sip and I feel medium malty body, delicate sweet, smooth with toast character. But after few sips this malty sweetnes in good balanced by medium, citrus-herbal bitterness. Beer is quite light, refreshing, I can say average IPA but I expected more power of hops and the beer has rather malty than hoppy character.

This pours a hazy gold, with a thin head. But oh that aroma!! Citrusy pine and pineapple & passionfruit bonanza! Lots of taste in the mouth, but not a great mouthfeel. Nice crisp finish to boot....

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2017 Nice smooth well balanced IPA. personally I would've loved if it had a little more bitter in the aftertaste

If IPAs are the cool kids, when a new one comes to your school named hop hog you assume it's going to be bitter as all hell, and, well, you're going to get bullied. But then 'the hog' turns out to be a nice guy; less jock, more Ferris Bueller. Damn, I feel conflicted. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

the small hog logo is pretty cute but the biggest hoggy is very big and good

Full of flavour with a strong hoppy note and bitter finish. All round great beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great clarity for an American IPA with good head retention, strong aroma with an interesting mix of spruce and citrus. Reasonably high IBU score underlies the bitterness, but it still does not overpower the spruce and citrus flavours. I enjoy buying this in a growler from my neighbourhood specialty beer shop.

Murky orange Amber body white head and lacing. Pine and resin aroma. Taste is semi-bitter, resin, some malts. Nice beer.

Packs a Hoppy punch to the limit of palatable. Layered palate with caramel finish. Good effort on bringing IPAs to the Australian market.
