Sampled in Sydney. Pours a deep body. Medium mouthfeel with notes of light citrus, fresh pine, sweet malt, wheat and light chocolate sweetness.

Pours a dark black with very little fizzy light brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate and sweet hops. Some toasted notes too. Taste is very big on the toasted malts, almost like burnt toast (in a good way). Fruity hops come to the party as well. Sits really well in the mouth, good for sipping but also goes down very well.

Cola pour with frothy brown head. Floral hop and citris pine nose. Creamy mouthfeel. Roasted malt, coffee and Nuts, mixed with sturdy citris, tropical fruit and hops. Smooth and great balance. Medium body. Malty type palate. A real treat.

Bottle from Beer Cartel (Jun 2016). Dark cola colour, billowing dirty white head, citrus, pine, dry roast grains, coffee, medium bitterness, dry finish. Good.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2016 Totalmente nera, schiuma compatta e fine beige chiaro. Al naso una decisa tostatura e note carbonose e di pino. Interessante la bevuta, mediamente dolce, con malto. Tostato ma una nota di cioccolato e caff lieve. Appena secca, bel finale luppolato. Carbonazione media. Molto leggera e beverina.

Black with a beige head, good lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, pine and citrus. Rich in palate, with roasted malts, tropical fruit, pine, coffee. Well balanced between sweet and bitter, with a nice dry hoppy finish. Very creamy and tasty, lovey ale.

Mokoji on tap. Held a great head. Not too hoppy and had a nice full mouth feel with great aftertaste. Great beer

On tap at Flat Rock Beer Cafe, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a good mix of roasted malt and piney hops. Flavour follows accordingly with lots of roasted malt and piney hops in good balance. A quintessential example of this style brewed well. Very good.

Poured a black colour with a slight reddish edge tint. Developed a huge tan coloured head that retained well and laced lightly; huge head detracts from overall appearance. Carbonation light and fine giving a nice mouthfeel. Aroma of grapefruit (there but not strong) with hints of sweet malt. Taste of roasted malt, coffee and grapefruit/citrus/tropical fruits; unusual combination. Light to medium body. Crisp and smooth with roasted coffee on the finish. Nice.
