On tap at Beer DeLuxe Melbourne, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and a touch of floral hopping. Flavour is light and restrained, with biscuity malt and light floral hopping. Dry and mellow. Meh.

Bottle from Grand Central Cellars December 2013. Okay beer for a hot summers day but a little bit thin in the mouth for my liking.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2014 Bottle. Gold with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, herbs, white grapes, some honeyed hay and tropical fruits. Light-bodied,moderate carbonation. Sweetish with hay, light biscuit, some honey. All very light and clean, so when the bitterness and citrus and tropical flavours come along they just charge through. Dryish finish. Very good summer drinking. [3.4] A few more of these. Just a bump to overall score.

maneliquor (3496) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 2, 2014
Bottle from Mane Liqor. Pours clear straw with a fluffy and sticky white head. Nose is all about the zing and zest of citrus with some heavy stone fruits. A solid sweet yeast behind it all. Belgian inspired but hop forward stuff - think zesty lemon rind and peach. Very quaffable and quite balanced. A Summers day drink. Solid stuff

Pours gold with a small head. Nose shows grassy and spicy hops, soft light malt and hay. Similar flavours with the same spicy hop notes and some light sweet pilsner-like malt followed by an assertive bitterness. Nice moderately light body, could use a bit more carbonation though.

ALLOVATE (2958) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 22, 2014
Produces up a yellow gold, just shy of bright and with soda-like effervescence. Head goes up and falls at a similar speed. Mango and passionfruit dominated nose with a yeasty bite and bready undertones. Watery palate. Highly effervescent with a carbonic acid bite. Sudsy, muddled crispness to the finish with a medial bitterness subdued by the carbonation. Yeasty, bready with passionfruit and mango coming through and lasting after each swallow. The carbonation is beyond annoying. Pretty average stuff! (33cL, no date stamp, Cellarbrations Carlisle)
