From a 330ml bottle on 30/1/2013 (ABV 4.9%, not 4.7%). Pours a very dark amber with a big head. Has a strong smell of smoky bacon. Flavour wise, thereís lots of chocolate malt, molasses, and smoked meats. The bitterness is medium and the carbonation relatively lively. All up, a very pleasant smoked beer. Quite surprised it isnít rated more highly.
Aroma - Mainly smoke with some citrus, apple and a hint of chocolate and burnt coffee.
Appearance - Pours black with think tan head that dissipates quickly.
Taste - Light initial smokiness, citrus, lemon but no tartness or sourness. After taste is a smooth smokiness that lingers in the mouth.
Mouthfeel - Medium to full body, low carb and has a think feel to it with goes well with the smokiness.
Overall - Could do with more smoke but a good beer on a cold winter day. JuanFernandes88 (39) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 30, 2017
Dark brown with a thin off white head. Aroma of coffee, woody smoke and a touch of bacon. Very light on the palate. Dry finish

330ml bottle. Consumed from the bottle, so I canít comment on the pour. Smoky and sweet chocolatey notes make up the aroma. Mild herbal hops up front, leading through smoke into milk chocolate in the mid-palate. The finish has an odd combination of smoky and sweet flavours. Like a lot of Feralís beers, I found this a bit underwhelming. CurlyJoe (229) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 27, 2017
Quite dark but not too thick. Big woody smoke aroma. Lots of that to taste as well. Some chocolatey malts as well. Much lighter on the palate than I thought it would be. Not knock your socks off smoky, but enough there to keep me happy. Tezminator (225) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 6, 2016
Lightly smoked aroma with toasted malts. Faint coffee and dark chocolate flavour with moderate smokiness. Nice bitter finish. Drinkable. Probably very good with food.

the aroma of roasted malt ,and oatmeal, slight smoke aroma, light dark colour of a proper porter, but the let down is the poor texture due to low ABV, taste wise is malty, and tobacco smoke, nice carbonation but I think this beer is a let down compared to the other beers brewed by this brewery! allmyvinyl (10508) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 8, 2016

Bottle (330ml). Opaque dark brown, lasting tan film head. Malty palate, light hop bitterness. Pleasant hickory smoked notes at the very end of the palate and also on the nose. Quite light and sessionable for a Porter. Enjoyable.
