Best before 29/03/05, consumed on 01/04/05... damn! Bottle poured a deep, ruby red body with a small tan head. Sweet, bready malt aroma that was a little juicy. Flavor went from sweet to sour, then finished sweet again. Not many discernable flavors.

Red apple in color. Full foaming cream. Sweet roast and chocolate aromas, with hints of raisin and dust. Quite nice. Sweet malts and caramel with a hint of banana in the flavor. Not bad really, for a beer like this.

500 ml bottle. Nearly opaque black-brown color, frothy tan head. Chocolate malt aroma. Fairly sweet milk chocolate flavor. Light body, medium carbonation. Pretty standard stuff. Trolleo (1742) - Pula / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 7, 2014
0,5l glass bottle at Magic Beer Room, Zagreb. Dark amber/dark red color, minimal fast disappearing tan head. Watery, strange aroma. Finish is bitter, but sweet on lips. Average carbonation. Pretty thin body for a Dunkel/Tmavý. Also, expected much much more from Czech Dunkel/Tmavý. Kind of disappointing but still good for a price (1,1€) DraftDodger (1708) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2017
Copenhagen 3/6 2017. 50 cl bottle from gift pack in SuperBrugsen. Something along the lines "Central European Beers Giftbox". Pours clear dark brown with a red tinge and small white head. Settles as lonely thin patch drifting around. Moderate lacing. Aroma has some sweet caramel, lightly roasted dark malts and something more sharp and bitter. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is classic Tmavy. Quite sweetish bordering on the sugary followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter with some sweet notes. Not exactly original but solid. And it’s not as sweet as some Dunkels can be. yy0pp (1632) - - JUN 26, 2014

Draught at the „4th Czeh Beerfestival”, Bp.
Dark brown/ruby colour with a medium, beige coloured head.
The smell is sweetish.
Sweet-sourish aroma dominated by caramel underpainted by light roastyness, texture is slick.
The finish is rather sweet escorted by a moderate roasty bitterness.
Overall rather on the sweet side, but not bad.
