imdownthepub (14743) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2006
On tap at The Pivni Galerie, Prague, 500ml, filtered. Chestnutty colour with white head, a pretty looking beer. Thin beer, but with a certain smokiness and fruitiness, rather plummy. However there is a surose sweetness that dominates the beer and overall it is too thin to be overly interesting.

3.4
Borup (14698) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JAN 5, 2007

HenrikSoegaard (14212) - Randers, DENMARK - MAY 27, 2005
Wonderfull smoky aroma, there must be smokemalt in this, creamy fully lasting head, and dark redbrown colour. Wonderfull to look at. It tastes quite average though, short finish that doesn´t add up to the aroma

3.3
Lubiere (13941) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 28, 2005
Dark reddish brown with a collapsing light moka head. Sweet caramel and prunes in aroma, lightly vinous. In mouth, sweet caramel, watery bodied, slight smokeyness noted, and signs of oxidation. Light bodied. Some metallic notes develop as beer warms.

thewolf (12629) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 14, 2008
Tap @ Ferdinanda, Prague.
Pours deep see-through brown. A good, creamy, off-white head on top. Mild sweet aroma with caramel and lightly roasted malts.Okay mouthfeel for the low ABV, powerfully carbonated. Flavour is (very lightly) metallic, good malty sweetnesss, lightly roasted with a fine, chocolate finish that lingers.
