Even though I have been to the city of Benesov two times, this is my first beer from this brewery. Very dark red colour with creamy off-white head. Aroma is maltet with some roasted malts and hints of coffee. First flavors are mostly the roasted malts, but then there is also some sweetness. Palate is nice and solid, and the beers last impression is a dry bitterness. Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUN 5, 2011
Draught at Uusi Apteekki, Turku. Dark reddish brown color. The aromas of dark bread, caramel and toffee. In the flavor dark bread and toffee is on the top with some caramelly background notes. Slightly sweet but not overly so. Quite nice breakfast beer. sfhodense (4789) - Odense NŘ, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2009

Bottle. Large fin bubbled off-white head that mostly lasted. Dark mahogany color. Good display of lacework. Aroma of mild sweet chocolate, roasted malt, hint of coffee and underlying grassy bitter notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet flavor with some counter bitterness. Roasted bitter hoppy finish. Frank (4172) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 9, 2010
Amber brown, small head of mixed bubbles. Nose is raisin sweet malts with a bit of an oxidized nutty element. Sugary sweet and with a dark fruit and caramel character. Too sweet really, it begins to cloy as the glass progresses. Medium bodied but lacking enough carbonation to keep it lively. I am not sure if this beer wants to be a dunkel or what but, whatever it is, it misses the mark. SSSteve (4006) - - FEB 4, 2007
