It poured a clear orange color with a small white head. The aroma was of mild grain and honey. It had a medium to light palate. The taste was grain, sweet honey and a touch of butter. seymour (2045) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - OCT 14, 2012
Tasted on tap at the brewpub. It poured a predictable clear golden amber color, weak white head. Stronger than expected generic happiness overpowering everything else. I couldn’t detect honey nor wheat, except for the vaguely mushy "Roman Meal honey wheat bread" aftertaste. Decent and drinkable, not deeply flawed, but not a particularly well-crafted beer overall. sneagrams3 (2337) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 3, 2011
Tasted 4/2/11. Growler from the Brewpub. Pours hazy with a golden honey hue with a mild orange tint. Ring and web of off-white head. Aromas of soggy malts and clover honey. Nice, sweet nose with a touch cereal grain and caramel malts. Medium bodied with a sweet mix of the malts and wheat and a nice kiss of honey. Mild malts and low, moderate effervescence. Flavors of soggy Cherrios and a faint hop presence. Smooth and easy! Good and fresh!
