4 oz sampler pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of caramel, nutty and bread. Taste is bready, nutty and sweet. vyvvy (6713) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 27, 2015
The beer is reddish chipper with a beige head. The aroma has light nuttiness, Irish ale malt and a hint of sweetness. It has a medium sharp body with pretty soft carbonation. The taste starts with dry Irish ale malt, earthy hops, spices and crackers. The finish has more hops than normal for the style. Good for an Irish ale, but just not a style that does much for me. kaser (6378) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 6, 2015
Malts and biscuits. Earthy cherry notes. Red pour on draft at the brew house in at Louis average BrewBoxer (2664) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 18, 2015
Draft at the saint louis brew house. Easy drinking red color with a bready taste. Very session able TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Draft on tap at the brewery (Florissant, MO). Pours a nice mellow hazed copper hue. A bit of darker copper glow on the edges is alluring, frothy offwhite head sits as a decent ring, film laces ok overall. Aromas are a bit toasty, gentle caramel and earthy malts. Touches of floor malts, biscuits and crusty bread. Some amber malt flashes. Initial lighter end of medium bodied, some toast, carmelized malts and biscuits. A bit bready. Some gentle touches of red fruit, faint spice. Middle is a bit sweet, buttery and off for me. This beer falls off a bit. Some decent carmelized elements, touches of toast with a mellow red fruit slant at times. Backend is a bit more dry, still has largely lost me with that buttery hit. A bit odd, sweet. Some touches of dryness, toast and touches of earth as we finish. Not my thing.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains with a touch of caramel and biscuit. Flavor has a similar profile with sweet grains and caramel throughout. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 22, 2014
3oz on tap at the brewpub, during my stay in STL for RBSG. Clear amber color. Khaki head. Good dots and ropes of lace. Good chocolate, light caramel malt aromas. Light spicy, good toastiness. Some decent earthy bittering hop. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter, light spice. Pretty solid, tasty full-bodied Irish ale. I enjoyed this one much more than expected. The creamy house character and malt bill work well with the style. For a style I typically hate... Impressive. phaleslu (10652) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 18, 2014
Draft at Friendly’s, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear reddish amber with a finger of off-white head that lasts quite a while. Really nice malt profile; toasty, amber, biscuit - nuts, spiced crackers, and grass. Light-bodied, with a malty mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Well-done Irish ale. thedm (6319) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 16, 2013
This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated hazy light red brown colored body. The mild aroma was Irish Red malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of Irish red malt crisp and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again. gregwilsonstl (2640) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Dark red. No head....Do any ferguson beers have head. Malty. Tastes somewhat like extract.
