Our deliciously dark & robust Porter, with a delicate but flavorful touch of maple syrup, it’s a popular product with consumers, beer bloggers and judges. Popular with the educated craft beer drinker, who’s looking for a uniquely rich & flavorful product. Made with 7 Malts including Chocolate, Black, Caramel & Crystal. Maple Syrup added post fermentation that adds a slight maple smoothness to the finish. A British/Canadian Hybrid Beer Style - Traditional London Porter with a hint of Canada!

650ml bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a medium, frothy, long lasting, light brown head that leaves plenty of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, maple syrup, caramel and a hint of vanilla. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, maple syrup and caramel with a bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Decent, this would be their best offering IMO.

Aroma: roasted dark malts, maple, caramel. Appearance: black color and creamy head. Taste: roasted dark malts, caramel, maple, acid, quite dry. Palate: low body and medium carbonation, roasted finish. Overall: It is rather ok.

Deep brown with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malts and chocolate. Taste is mildly sweet; you can barely taste the maple syrup, to be honest.

Looks like a porter. Roast and maple aroma. Decent maple flavor but marred by an astringent finish.

Bottle - Nice roast and some dark chocolate. Deep jet brown with a decent light brown head. Roast, chocolate and some nice sweet maple notes. Nice.

Pours black with a small frothy brown head and fades to a ring. Aroma is roasted malts, light mocha, a little sweet maple and a touch of smoke. Taste is much the same, I would have liked a little more maple since it is in the name. Thanks to Reimer for this.

Drinking from a 650 cl bottle. In the aroma berries. The clear brown beer has a medium brown head. In the taste sweet berries like raspberry. Maple syrup when the beer is still cold, when it warms up the taste gets more bitter. Medium carbonated.

ENG: 650ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the tulip. Very dark brown color, medium but dissipating tan head, little bit of lacing. Aromas of roasted caramel and chocolate. Very sweet taste of maple, chocolate, roasted caramel. A bit sour finish. Coffee and bitter aftertaste. Low carbonation, medium body. Overall quite smooth, but a bit too sweet maple porter.

PL: Butelka 650ml z Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do kieliszka. Bardzo ciemna, brunatna barwa, średnia lecz zanikająca jasna piana, nieco lejsingu. Aromaty palonego karmelu, czekolady. Dość słodkie w smaku za sprawą syropu klonowego, czekoladowe, palony karmel. Nieco kwaśne pod koniec. Kawowy, goryczkowy posmak. Niskie nasycenie, średnie odczucie w ustach. Podsumowując całkiem gładki, ale nieco za słodki, lekki porter z domieszką syropu klonowego.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a tan head. Aroma is surprisingly light, some roasty malt and chocolate, a little honey and maple. Flavour is very sweet, lots of honey, with only a little roasty bitterness to balance. Meh.

Not bad considering the brewery. Pours black. Aromas are maple. Flavors are sweet and sticky. Bubblegum and maple. A bit thin.
