Bottle from Bacchus, Crickhowell. Copper coloured with a short-lived, off-white head. Aroma of earthy malts, with a hint of caramel and some spicy hop. Sweetish, fruity malt flavour, with a decently bitter finish. Ok. BeerViking (4981) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2009
Bottle conditions, 500ml. Pours a red-brown with a coarse cream-coloured head. Malt and fruit on the nose, more in the palate along with faint plummy notes, bitter hops and an iron metallic taste - is this deliberate or (as seems more likely) poor storage by the retailer? Christian (13773) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2009
Amber with a lasting off-white head. Weak aroma of fruity malt, and butter. Dry and slightly sour, weak malt flavour
