Draft - Very deep red body with a very little brown touch, creamy pink head; Very small nose, quite a bit of kriek aroma but hidden by warm hop notes and a very strange and unfitting touch of celery; The body has a soft texture, a soft small carbonation in a slightly bitter body that is only very little sour; It finishes sour but even more bitter, no kriek aromas but lots of hop and again this strange celery Not to good, but applause for the attempt. bierkoning (13813) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAR 8, 2007
€ 2,15 for a half pint. Sweet, sugary aromaof cherry juice. Cherry and yoghurt in the flavor, with some hopbitterness shimmering through. Cherry pudding dessert aftertaste. Nice kriek, not too artificial. jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - DEC 16, 2006
On tap at the brewpub. Malty aroma with some cherries and hints of cherry pits. Red color, pinkish head, good lace. Malty, sweetish, light bitter start, some cherry, cherry pits. Very nice mouthfeel, milky start turning very full and a woody dry finish. Much better than all the Dutch and Belgian so called kriek beers that are booming.
