COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We begin with huge amounts of wheat which gives a pleasing grainy character to the beer. This marries well with the bold citrus and peppery esters derived from our French yeast strain and creates a very drinkable, yet complex Saison. Responsible amounts of European hops are thrown in at the end of the boil to provide a nice grassy character with the slightest hint of lemon.

Murky yellow, creamy white head. White bridal wheaty, herbal maybe. Dry, fruity, cider like. Nice. (Taster at the brewpub in Berkeley)

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Big musk, softly herbal. Light lemon tones. Medium bodied, bright lemon and yeast, a bit of musk. Nice spicy yeast character, lovely musk, bright citrus. Graceful and easy drinking, lots of subtlety here. Gentle musk and yeast into the finish.

Tap at Mission Creek, pours a clear gold with smaller head and not much lace. Notes are Orange peel, white pepper, coriander, apples, and Belgian fruity yeast. Light bodied with average carbonation. Refreshing and somewhat crushable for a belgian

(En fût à la source): Une base céréalière justement protéinée, un enrobage zestée et quelques épices adéquatement timides.

Pours hazy yellow. Nose is saison yeast, coriander, white pepper, some bubble gum ester. Taste is dry, ever so lightly tart, lots of spice, refreshing. Above average saison.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2016 Draught at The Office in San Carlos. This was so well rounded and complex. Aromas of spice and wheat, with a slight citrus hop aspect. Hazy honeycomb with moderate and retained white head. Flavor leans to the spice, with fresh meadow and dandelion.

Draft at Taplands. Hazy yellowish color with a thin head and light lace. Clean aroma of pepper, clove, lemon zest, and some yeast. Flavor is spice and yeast forward. Drinks very clean with a peppery tingly. Really nice beer.

On tap @ Fieldwork. Hazed straw colored beer with white foam. Nice bready and crackery malt profile. Some mild sweetness and a good bite to it, almost a bit chewy. Nice light but enjoyable hop profile. Slight phenols and esters, leafy, floral hops, and a touch of spice. A mild grassy bitterness on the finish. Pretty peppery, but it works for me.
