COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From atop our brewery’s roof, if the sun shines hard enough to burn away the bay’s semi-permanent blanket of fog, we are gifted beautiful views of sailboats dancing across the San Francisco Bay. Daydreams of what its like to be on one of those boats float through our heads as sweat from the brew day drips to the ground. While on the boats they are enjoying their tiki drinks, we’ll alleviate the heat with some Fog Cutter. Inspired by a blend of the Fog Cutter and Zombie Punch tiki drinks, our Fog Ripper is soured to the point of mouth puckering acidity and is then fermented with passionfruit, red sour cherries, oranges, limes and Mosaic hops. The result is an over the top fruity Catamaran of a sour beer ripping through your palate and leaving only tart and juicy greatness in its wake.

Draft. Reddish-amber beer with a cream head. Tart and tropical aroma. Tropical fruit and guava flavor with tartness and brett. Medium bodied. Tropical fruit and tartness linger with brett and light earthiness.

On tap @ Fieldwork. Fruit punch pour with some white foam. Crazy guava on the nose and tongue. Really intense, in fact. Notes of passion fruit, dragonfruit, and like. Really bright, citric, and fruity. Nice dry finish. Drinks like a soda pretty much, just without the sweetness. Super, super crushable. One of the best Fieldwork beers in recent memory.

On tap at Mission Creek, pours a pinkish red with small white head. Tons of passionfruit, cranberry, oranges, fruit punch, cherries, wheat, and cherry limeade. Finishes like a cranberry passionfruit ginger ale. Light to medium bodied

Bottle thanks to cloudy pink with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is cherry skin, passion fruit, oak, funk. Thin body, strong passion fruit, cherry, light acidity, nice tartness, really enjoyed this.

But lots of other fruits. Hard to parse. It’s not very tart, let alone sour. It is very refreshing. it is clean and juicy tasty. It is great stuff.

joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - OCT 20, 2016
On tap at Fieldwork. It pours a light salmon orange/red color with an off white fizzy head. The aroma has fruit punch, lime and ruby red grapefruit. The flavor is really good with a little flowery hibiscus, perfume, ruby red grapefruit, lime tartness. Very tart. The strong perfume is a nice complement to the tart, fruity flavors. Subtle, but supportive. Simple kettle sour tartness, but it’s clean on the palate, light and dry. Very good.

marcus (10680) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 10, 2016
On tap at Fieldwork Sacramento. Pours bright pink with a modest pink head and a very fragrant mixed fruit aroma. There is a medium-bodied slightly sour malt flavor with lots of fruit and an earthy finish. Refreshing and tasty.
