On tap @ Fieldwork. Hazed golden colored beer with a white head. I dug the regular version of this, so let’s see about this one. Yep, pretty good, too. Maybe a little bit sweet for my tastes, but the tropical and citrus fruit character is quite nice. Big time peach, mango, pineapple, and orange. There’s a bit of acidic berry and maybe guava. Has some strong bitterness to the finish. A touch of green onion on the back end too. Zymurgeist2 (2494) - Redwood City, California, USA - APR 14, 2016
Draught at Harry’s Hofbrau in San Jose. Aroma is overt dank and resins, with slight tropical fruit lending support. Clear light gold with off-white head that slowly fades and ends with a small collar. Flavor is pine, dank finish and spruce tips. Moderate high bitterness. Bready malt adds nice balance without sweetness and the beer hides the alcohol well. Bitterness lingers and the pine needles linger well after the tastes. marcus (11077) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 9, 2016
