Nose is coffee grinds, charr, spice, bourbon tickle, dark chocolate.
Taste comprises roast malt, lighter coffee presence, charr, chocoalte, toffee, light fruit esters, black peppery spice, subtle bourbon.
Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lick of booze.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Opaque dark brown beer, good dark tan head. Palate is softish and semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts. Tangy dark fruits and tangy rich coffee. Modest fruity bourbon. Tangy dry finish. Yeah quite tangy but flavoursome.

Bottle shared on Level 42 23/01/2017. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. A mahogany brown coloured pour with fine light tan head. Aroma is big vibrant coffee, earthy bean, praline, milky coffee, pine. Flavour is composed of earthy coffee, spicy coffee, praline caramel, tangy sour. Lemon. . Palate is medium bodied, creamy, moderate carbonation. Really nice coffee character.

33cl bottle shared at Level 42. Many thanks to Ken for this one. It pours a pitch black color with no head. Aroma is rich and bold with notes of sweet bourbon, lactose, vanilla and coffee beans. Taste is also sweet and roasty with notes of vanilla, bourbon, lactose and tart red fruits. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Kenny. Pours deep black-brown with creamy, tan head. The nose has some burnt peanut butter, chocolate, moderate roast. Medium sweet flavour with more hearty chocolate, lightly tangy berries, ash, woody dryness. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Bottle share at One Canada Square as ’Fierce Beer Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Cafe Racer’, 9%. Black, opaque, foamy light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, ash and vanilla. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is quite spicy, chili, chocolate, coffee, some pepper, more spice. Quite rich coffee, sugary, spicy. Interesting beer. Poured deep, dark brown with a thick, deep tan head. Aroma of sweet fruit, tar, leather, boozy bourbon. Full body, flavour as the body., dry, lightly smokey. Very nicely balanced.
