Dark brown pour with a tall tan head that gives way to a thin lacing. Notes of roasted malts, roasted coffee beans, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa nibs. Light and easy to drink, the adjuncts well integrated into the beer. Medium body and carbonation, smooth-ish texture and a roasty bitter-sweet finish. Mad Dog Martin (150) - - DEC 31, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2017 Bottle from Fierce online. Classic Black and Tan with a cocoa and faintly berry aroma. Tastes very chocolatey with mocha, malt, raisin and oats. I didn’t find it majorly tasted of coffee.

deep brown pour, hardly any head. Big coffee, vanilla, malty, chocolatey aromas. Taste is sweet up front, big hit of vanilla and chocolate thick shake, then coffee comes through a little roasty and coffee bitterness on the end. Liked this one a lot. sturgem82 (25) - - DEC 23, 2017
What a name. What a bottle. What a beer. Great appearance and aroma. Tastes good but is very different in taste. Wouldn’t want 3-4 of these but one is a good drink

Keg at The White Horse Old Ale Festival, Parson's Green in Nov 2017 - Opaque black in colour. Good creamy beige head. Coffee and chocolate aroma. Malty; roasty malts, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, caramel. Fruity; dark fruits; raisins. Bit spicy. Hoppy; moderate hop bitterness. Great depth of flavour. Super smooth. Sweet roast chocolate and coffee malty fruity throughout. Enjoyed this. Very drinkable. (2017-11) Stuartyboy (1802) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - DEC 10, 2017
