Draught at Halfcut. Malt forward IPA with lots of fruity notes. For me, too much fruit in the body.

Can. Gift from a friend. Pours orange with an inch of thick white foam. Leaves a shitload of lacing in the glass. Has some citrus on the nose. Big dank hops on the tongue. Kind of like licking a pine cone. Finished fairly clean. Definitely more west coast than east coast but sometimes you just want to taste the hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: medium golden. a little hazy. Decent foam of white bubbles. Nose: light pine with a bit of sweetness. Taste: pine hops with a bit of funk and earth. Light malt. Body: medium to lighter with good carbonation. Parting thoughts: a nice easier drinking IPA

on tap @ Fifty West / Cincinnati OH --- Clear medium amber color, white head, curtain of lace. Taste is semi-sweet caramel malt that adds solid hops in the palate. The malt is strong enough to hold on through a long lingering finish. A solid, balanced, full-bodied brew. Recommended.

draft sampler from the source. poured more yellow color with white head. medium to heavy malt base and plenty of citrus hops on the nose. the flavor tended towards the heavy malt with citrus hops being the primary focus decent bitter flavor on the end along with some floral notes. very well balanced and drinkable. one of their bigger sellers.

More citrus than a west coast beer. But still best brew here. Light but solid hop bite. And good beer. Tropical nose and flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap, poured into a tulip/snifter. The aroma is a strong spruce and floral note with a light bread crust, light lemon, some grapefruit that comes on late, and a touch of honey underneath it all. Its a somewhat hazy yellow brown with a soapy white head that retains a medium ring, a small filmy island, and a messy dense lace. The taste is a medium high bitter with a medium sweet undertone. Its oily and slick with lots of fuzzy carbonation. The medium body is waxy with a herb character. Flavors of lemon and bread crust follow up with a finish thats caramel, grassy, and spruce with a light citrus zest. The aftertaste is astringent and somewhat cloying with a waxy grapefruit and light bread character.
