Appearance: Dark black brown. Opaque. Thin ring of mocha foam
Nose: Earthy dark roast malt. Black coffee bitters. Bit of dark chocolate
Taste: Very intense deep roasted coffee bitter with some dark chocolate sweetness
Body: Fuller and smooth
Parting thoughts: A very memorable impression. A definite wow reaction. One of the better coffee stouts I have had.

On nitro tap at Fifty West. Pours an autumn brown with a nice chocolate colored head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma and taste of fresh coffee, milk chocolate, toasted malts, caramel, cream, even a bit of nuttiness. Full bodied, creamy texture, moderate carbonation. Just an all around excellent beer! nathan30533 (1020) - Clifton, Ohio, USA - JUL 9, 2015
Not too much bad you can say bad about this beer. This one is full of coffee. Aroma, taste, and greatness. This brew is smooth and nice. ARH (1135) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 12, 2015
UPDATED: JAN 26, 2016 On tap, poured into a snifter. The aroma is coffee beans and fresh brewed coffee at once, with undertones of nuts, toffee, and sweet dark fruit. The beer is dark and just about opaque with a deep, molasses brown hue. The head is tan and dense - gelatin thick - and retains a thick ring, a good wispy surface, and it leaves a good, messy lace. The beer is a medium high coffee bitter, mostly at the tail end, with a medium caramel sweetness upfront. It’s creamy with a smooth, fuzzy carbonation. The full body holds characters of a sweet coffee with raisin notes, a light, dark chocolate touch, and a nut character. The finish is smooth with dark chocolate, raisin, and coffee. The aftertaste is dry and clean with a bit of coffee grounds and some raisin left behind. Patrickctenchi (6668) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JAN 4, 2015

It’s just like drinking coffee/espresso. I like coffee, so I could drink this one all day with no problem, but it doesn’t really feel like a beer.
