1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
I am writing this because it looks like all the other reviews were from the brewpub and my sample was at Jackie o’s and I had a completely different experience. I ordered this beer and the bartender, who knows me, gives me a tasting glass, I look at him perplexed, sniff and taste the beer..... nothing....I would not even of put this in the pale ale range of style with no hop aroma or taste, no bitterness, and no viscosity. He then told me they had a hefe by this brewery that tasted like water next door.
I thanked him for not selling me this beer and ordered a different beer.
I will try again if I see it at another place but in the mean time I have to question all aspects of this beer once it was put into the keg.
Appearance: Hazy Bright copper. Thin layer of small white bubbles.
Nose: Citrus hops with a decent hit of pine needle. Honey caramel malt.
Taste: Resinously sweet with citrus and pine needle hops. Good bitters and a decent hit of the ole ETOH
Body: Medium and a bit silky.
Parting thoughts: A strong IIPA with just a touch short of cloying alcohol sweetness. Nice hop blend and decent bitters throughout.

Sampler at Kroger. Clear pale pour with short-lived creamy head. Citrus/tropical fruit and pine. Moderately sweet, short moderately bitter finish. Finishes dry enough. Medium+ body, average carbonation, oily texture. Saucer52 (1) - - JUL 11, 2016 does not count
Found this at Casual Pint in Loveland ohio and it is the best IPA I’ve had in quite some time. Hope you can find it and enjoy as I have. O citric cotton mouth here! DialSquare (5188) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 7, 2016
Growler courtesy of Lauren and John from Jungle Jim’s in Cincy: amber pour with thin white head and spotty stick. aroma of caramel and pine hops. tastes are tropical fruit, melon, pine, citrus rind, bit mineral. solid. rondphoto (4518) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JAN 28, 2016
on tap @ Fifty West / Cincy OH --- Clear medium amber color, ivory head, lace streaks. Aroma of malt and citrus. Taste is caramel malt that moves aside for solid citrus hops and carbonation on the swallow. Hops and malt coast together through a long finish. Really solid traditional IPA.

draft sampler from the source. poured an clear orange color with white head. the aroma is heavy malt and plenty of citrus hops. I would call this the bigger brother of the coast to coast. very pleasing nose. the flavor on the other hand is deceiving. if this is suppose to be 100 ibu’s you wouldn’t know it. this is quite smooth in bitterness for an imperial ipa. great citrus hop flavor with some floral notes and lots of malt. very deceptive and quite delicious. bobschaefer (13) - Ohio, USA - SEP 6, 2015
Incredibly well balanced, the higher malty flavor does a good job of balancing out the hop bitterness. drfabulous (8833) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - AUG 19, 2015
Draught at brewery. Very tasty and full of aroma hoppy IPA. Tropical flavors. Very good overall. nathan30533 (1022) - Clifton, Ohio, USA - JUL 9, 2015
