Draft sample during OBW. The beer is a copper color with a white head of foam. Aroma has sweet vanilla and is a little doughy. Sweet overall. Kind of an interesting beer. Medium body and medium carbonation.

4 oz sample at the grocery store. Copper pour with small head. Vanilla and cream - exactly like a beer-cream soda. As gimmicky as it is, this was a fun one to sip while shopping.

Draft - Sweet vanilla and pecans, like praline. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet vanilla and some bready notes. Pastry like, but not quite there. Disjointed.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a slightly hazy orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing.Aroma of citrus, malt and vanilla. Medium body with flavors of orange peel, vanilla, malt and roasted nuts, The finish is fruity with a citrus and vanilla aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft to multiple tasters at various locations from notes. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, toasted nutty malts, vanilla, a splash of caramel, orange cream, I think this was pretty much what they said it would be, interesting.

draft sample at the source. poured a clear amber/orange color with white head. initial aroma was of nuts, vanilla and medium malt and it was rather sweet. the flavor was about the same a slight bourbon vanilla nutty flavor that blends together quite well. this could easily be a dessert beer. it is easily drinkable and fun.

Draft to pint pour lightly hazy gold orange with minimal white head. Nose toasted nut, sweet vanilla, but also a slight underlying chemical. Taste pretty interesting, sweet malt with vanilla and bread, I can imagine the cone. Then vanilla and sweet, like vanilla ice cream. Definitely not overly sweet and really cool progression of flavors. Taste lingers super long.

Draft. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasted and had good lacing. Good nutty malt and vanilla aroma. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate complex sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good smooth brew.

On tap at Dutch’s. Wow, this is super-interesting. Fantastic toasty malt, vanilla, and pecan all works awesomely together to create a delicious very ice-cream-tasting beer. I was nervous that this would be too sweet initially, but it has an excellent balance to the taste. Moderate sweet, but a nice moderate bitterness to it as well. Just a mild spicy bite to the finish. Mostly clear golden orange color, with a single small chunk at the bottom of the glass. Pours with a thin off-white head, that fades to a ring after a bit. Few loose bits of lace. Max tells me the oils from the pecan is combatitive to head retention. Medium-plus body, smooth kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Mild slick finish. Nice bit of creaminess to the texture. Good bit of citrus on the back end. A very awesome, very tasty, very interesting beer.
