BR 1 2014, purple wax
Aroma is sweet and very "American". Fruitiness, licorice and vanilla. Feels already sticky even though I have not tasted yet. Flavour has alcohol, licorice, sweet vanilla tones and wood. Alcohol balances the sweetness here. A slow sipper. Wait, no, THE slow sipper.

2015 bottle. Pours brown, dark, and brooding with a light brown head. Burnt sugar, toasted almonds, and toffee aromas. Flavor is plums, but heavy on licorice, smoke, and coffee too. The finish mellows out with a residual sweetness that I find very appealing.

Served into a snifter, ABV 9.5% Pitch black colour on the body, one finger of thick, brown head on top, with quite good retention Aroma has lots of bourbon, wood, iodine, plums, molasses, dark fruits, nice hints of alcohol. Sweet taste with plenty of bourbon again, light liquorice, dark fruits, plums, burnt sugars, wood, alcohol, light vanilla. Medium body with soft carbonation. Sticky on the palate. Nice.

2014 Bottle at Cafe Sara, march 5th 2016. Black body with a solid brown head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, roast and raisin. Complex bourbon and coffee taste with a smooth sliky cocoa and vanilla presence. Forest berries in finish with a delightful roasty aftertaste, vanilla hints. Excellent.

Very crisp, clear dark brown color. Aromas of dark roasted chocolate malt, sweet bourbon that adds vanilla and toffee. Roasted taste with a lot of bourbon flavors, vanilla, caramel, and slight burning alcohol. Warm, long finish that makes you wanna savour the moment - only to take another sip again.

This 2015 hade great balance, think its in its prime at the moment, dont save this one, drink now. Annanas, coconut, apples, honey, vanilla. Some earthy aromas, soy is on the way, due to Barrel aging, drink now. Shared with Ida & Kapusta.

Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver, bought in 2014
Tag "Br 2/2012"

Black color, beige head, medium head, apparently less carbonated. Tickling carbonation on the tongue, dark chocolate flavor, mild bourbon or rye feeling, a bit too boozy, and moderately roasty in the final. More tobacco than the Four Roses tasted side to side. Nice sweetness level. Balanced. Very nice.

Maakun (4486) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAY 28, 2016
Bottle shared at some stables in Belgium. Black with light brown head that leaves lots of lacing. Dried apricot, cocoa, strawberry, vanilla, booze, light metallic touches, bubblegum, old coffee. Over medium sweet with a lingering metallic bitter finish. Full bodied with soft carbonation and lingering dry feel. Quite nice except for the finish.
