Yorker (2003) - Herning, DENMARK - MAY 27, 2017
65 cl bottle @ home (2014 vintage). Pours black with a tan head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate, and liquorice - with a slightly bitter finish.

DuffMan (10424) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 25, 2017
Bottle, 2014 vintage (Rittenhouse Rye), shared with the brewery boys. Hearty molasses-brown pour with a creamy brown head. Rich brothy malty aroma, boozy and woody notes. Massive body, with hearty dark malts in good balance with sweet boozy whiskey. Lots of chocolate and black licorice, caramel sweetness, woody and spicy nuances. Nicely integrated whiskey into an excellent base beer. Another winner in the series!

At the whales tasting at Tom’s. As Rittenhouse Rye Barrel, 2014. Headless black. Lots of vanilla, a little bit of cocoa and lots of chocolate in the nose. Sweet, honey, hints of black pepper and wood and a little dry taste. Full body, smooth texture, peppery notes and cocoa finish.

LRonCupboard (65) - Belfast, NORTHERN IRELAND - DEC 16, 2016
Bottle from Mikkeller shop with Andy at my brothers wedding. Pours black with a good beige head, which hung around. Big malty aroma. Lots of chocolate, raisins/dried fruit, wood and some alcohol - barrel is evident too, but in a subtle balanced way. Nice full body with soft carbonation as it should be. Very nice dark malt, chocolate, coffee flavour with appropriate amount of sweetness. Fabulous lasting warming finish. Rye comes through really nicely with well balanced bitterness and tiffin like chocolate/biscuit/raisin finish. Top stuff.

660ml bottle - Overpriced Beer Tasting 2016 - thanks rask0lnikiv!
Red, tight head. Crazy mellow aroma, barrels clear. Nice roasty body, some wood. Rye whiskey finish. A bit too much alcohol. Very nice sipper.
