ABV: 9.5%. Clear dark black colour with a small, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, fruity - berries, raisin, prunes, wood, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet raisin - prunes, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty, breadish and wooden. Sweet, toffee, caramelish and roasted to breadish malty. Biscuity. Bottle @ Papsø. Vintage 2010. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocoalte and licorice aroma with hints of whiskey. Thick roasted malty chocoalte and licorice and rye whiskey flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate, coffee and licorice finish with woody hints in the aftertaste. Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Vintage 2010. Pours black with a vague reddish tint. Sweet whiskey aroma, sweet roast and dark fruits. Solid body, carbonation is a little low, hard yet sweet roast, lots of raisins. Boozy finish, still with sweet roast. Well made indeed. 170611

ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Very dark brown beer that is just about transparent. Pale tan head. Semi dry palate. Rich dark malt with some chocolate and coffee. Mild creamy lactose. Minerals. Finishes dry. Pretty well joined up and tasty beer.

THE Eclipse Tasting. Pretty much as above but noticed some dark fruits and a little spice in the bourbon. Enjoyed it more this time.

Bottle at THE Eclipse Tasting, London. Bottle #213, green wax. Thanks to Kenneth! Pours dark brown with a thick, creamy tan head. Charred wood on the nose, some strong alcohol poking through, some ripe, dark fruits. Big sweet flavor with lots of dark sugars, molasses, some dark chocolate, boozy wood. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warm finish with light sting, moderate woody bitterness, baking cocoa, toasted sugars, a bit of chocolate cake. Rich, with a sturdy alcohol presence.
