Bomber, huge thanks to beddachedda for this amazing tick. Next year, me arse will be at Eclipse Day, mark my words. Phenomenal aroma of all kinds of iced and -bald amazingness. Huge chocolate, coffee, roast, sweet toffee, amazing whiskey, dark fruit, and oak. The flavor is great too. Very sweet, but stops just short of being too much so. Smooth balanced malt base of caramel, toffee, candied dates, chocolate, oak, and Elijah. Damn this is good. Fairly full-bodied and very slick on the mouthfeel with lower carbonation. Crazy, crazy good beer. One of the best Eclipses - and beers - I’ve ever ticked.

Simply put, they nailed this one. As good or better than any previous Eclipse release. I’m a BIG fan of barreling more than a small % of a beer (so the barreling is obvious), but less than 100% (so it doesn’t dominate) and this one is near perfect in that regard. Not sure how the twice iced Totality comes into play...probably makes this a bit stronger, thicker, and sweeter without bourbon overpowering. The EC 18 yr influence is super nice and best of all, doesn’t totally cover up the awsomeness that is the stout. Choclatey, decadent, roasted, Super smooth and full and rich. I’ll likely never have this again, and that’s too bad, cuz it’s amazing. *9.5% on the bottle, rumors saying that’s for show. If it’s iced, it’s stronger than the base. Untappd has it at 14%. Either way, not hot at all."

22oz bottle pours a black color with a small white head. Bottle 80. Smooth. Nice bourbon balance. Good have mellowed but still noticeable. Sticky toffee at the end.

Woodshed 2.0. Bomber (bottle #38) share courtesy of BOLTZ7555. It pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin mocha head of foam. The aroma is full of molasses as well as lesser amounts of burnt malts, chocolate and then booze. Nice. The taste is smooth and silky and nectar like as it runs head long into molasses, rich sweetened coffee, chocolate and sticky sludgy malts. Damn, great sipper.

Diego, you are the effin man my friend! Black pour, tan head. Aroma of fudge, light bourbon, roast, some ash and good chocolate notes. Flavor is sweet and rich with the bourbon notes taking a background to the roast, cocoa, light coffee. Alcohol not even noticeable at all to speak of.

Bottle shared at Woodshop 7. Deathly black with a dark-tan head. Strong and sweet with plenty of chocolate and a blatant honey note in the middle. Finish is actually rather dry and bitter.

Sample from a 22oz bottle with sky blue wax, shared by b3shine. Bottle #20. Dark brown color, translucent in my glass. Little brown head, some small dots of lace. Oak nose. Big vanilla flavor; honey. Awesome woody malty vanilla / honey nose. Big sweet and bitter taste. Big body, but not viscous. Light carbonation. Huge awesome aftertaste, wood, chocolate, roasty flavor that is enjoyable very long after each sip. Awesome one to savor. Really good, super-interesting beer

Bottle acquired via an extremely generous trader and shared @ Woodshed 2.0! Midnight pour, onyx really, with a creamy latte head. Bonus points for staining the glass! Brownie batter, chocolate fudge, mocha, dark roasted coffee, and vanilla. Slight bourbon and oak notes as well. Coating and delicious!

Thanks to Beer Savant for sharing 2011 vintage bottle during his 50th birthday bash. This beer pours an opaque brownish-black color with a thin beige head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing and sticky legs. Aroma of chocolate, roast malt and bourbon. Full, smooth body with flavors of bourbon-infused chocolate, vanilla and roast malt. The finish is syrupy with a bourbon and chocolate aftertaste. Good all around.

22 oz. bottle shared by generously shared by b3shine (Oct. 2012). Pours dark brown to black in color with a small beige head. The aroma had roasted malt, dark caramel, honey, some dark fruits, vanilla with barrel notes. The flavor has big dark fruit, roasted malt, chocolate, dark caramel, vanilla, wood, hints of bourbon with some honey like sweetness. The flavors are big and concentrated; very tasty.
