In our California Pale Ale (CAPA), you can’t miss the grapefruit and citrus aroma dancing on the head of this tasty creation made with Citra and Eldorado hops. This is as West Coast as West Coast comes.

Perfectly fine and acceptable pale ale. Of course it is overpriced because it is from 50/50, but that is their game. Would never purchase again at price point, but always fun to try new beer. pint can.

Pint at OG. Hoppy aroma. Slightly cloudy golden colour. Nice hoppiness that's not 'too much'. (K)

On tap at Cap Tap. Pours quite hazy gold with a thick white head and a huge grapefruit aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with a lots of fruit and a moderately bitter grapefruit finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Aroma has citrus, malt, orange candy and herbs. Taste of bitter grassy citrus, herbal hop and malt. Solid.

This was a pretty tasty pale ale. Plenty of hops but still seems like a pale. Good stuff.

nice citra pale ale - a little one note, but very pleasant if you’re a Citra fan as I am. Grapefruit, orange peel and lemon forward with a light malt base.

"Fresh aroma bursting with citrus, and a hint of pine. Slightly more hop heavy in flavor than your average pale, with bitter and swet dueling it out, but it’s light in body and very refreshing. Admittedly, I’m a sucker for Citra hops, but this was nice."

Tap. Pours quite hazy golden Amber, medium beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is tropical, dank, passionfruit. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, tropical guava. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel

Beer No. 2 in my flight of beers at the brewery tap. Deep golden to orange colour, slightly hazy. Well hopped throughout in aroma and flavour, predominantly citrussy notes, also moderate pine, but not too bitter. A well made APA, the way I like them.

On tap at the brewhouse as part of a flight of everything they offered! Hazy pale yellow with minimal head. Vibrant tropical aroma. Citrus is abundant on the flavor. Appearance was a little like looking at a lemonade.

Fatehunter (2654) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - MAY 26, 2015
Pours a half finger of head on a hazy straw body. The aroma is tropical: pineapple and mango with some pine. The taste is moderate bitterness with honey sweetness to balance. The texture is light. Nice.
