On tap. Pours with a mostly clear, deep mahogany hue with a tan head that fades but leaves good lace. Aromas are of big and robust malt, light dark fruit, a bit raisiny like Special B, leathery, spicy, lightly herbal, some grapenut like malt character. Flavors are toasty, lightly coconut like, raisiny, highly toasted malt, light melanoidins, medium sweet. Sampled at the brew house this past summer. Pours brown and clear. The smooth hoppy flavor is nice and malts are crisp.
